Nice and quite

We recently stayed there for 3 nights during the camel fair. We enjoyed our stay, it is secluded, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough. Beautiful landscape, nice gardens. Room/Chalets are basic but very quite. The food in the restaurant was great, probably the best we had on our 3 week trip within a hotel. The only downside is the wifi. There is only wifi access in the lobby which is also slow and always a fair walk regardless in which chalet you are staying. This day an age wifi should be a given. Needs to be improved. That said, i can thoroughly recommend the resort.

We were at the resort enroute to Ajmer after seeing the holy lake and tem0les of Pushkar. We stopped at the resort for.some time to have tea and refreshment. We ask the reception desk to show us their room which actioned within 5 minutes. The room shown to us was quite impressive.
An Oasis in Pushkar

Beautiful surroundings, huge garden and cool swimming pool. The individual bungalows were large and spacious and we enjoyed our tea outside in the peaceful garden with the birds and wildlife. We would recommend for rest and relaxation in comfortable accommodation and beautiful surroundings. The service from staff in restaurant was friendly and reception were helpful.

Nice and small hotel with bungalows within nice gardens. Location outside the city. Nice swimming pool. Beautiful and peaceful place at night with all the lights on. Food buffet could be improved with larger choice.
Great option for a family outing with some minor improvement points

I want this place to do good as it has a lot of potential so I will spend time writing this review. Pushkar resort is a 7km drive from the holy town of Pushkar and 20 kms from Ajmer Junction, which is well connected to Delhi and other parts of the country. One can either book a cab ad-hoc and bargain or book an ola cab, which I will advise.
Right! let's start with the positives.
We had a standard room which has all the basic amenities, is well lit and is not too crammed. All rooms are air conditioned. We booked 3 rooms and they were all part of a enclosure with a green space in the front to walk around and soak up the sun. Good quality toiletries were provided. The restaurent and housekeeping staff is courteous and genuinely helpful. The pool is clean and looks beautiful post sunset. It was a good experience to sip a glass of chilled beer by the pool after a dip. The whole area of the resort is pretty huge with about 40 rooms. There's a games room with carrom, pool table and a table tennis table. Last but not the least, there's a spa - the quality of massage was satisfactory however not all the services provided in the pamplet are available. Double check that - balinese massage was not available. The pricing is on a higher side, however that's the case with most captive audience resorts.
The restaurent food was mostly good, especially the laal maas which was stellar. I would have loved some more rajasthani dishes like ker sangri and daal baati churma for meals and kachori in breakfast. There are buffet all you can eat options in every meal but we chose ala carte as there was no mutton or fish in the buffet.
Coming to the improvement areas. Firstly, the management. I was given different rates for the taxi couple of times. The reception staff were courteous but need to get better with handling guests in volume and giving consistent information. The price for taxis quoted are expensive which I expected for a resort. You can book independently to save some money.
Secondly, we had some issues getting my father to the room. He can't walk properly especially if it's not a cement or hard track and the drop point is about 150 to 200m to the room. When we checked out, we were allowed to bring the taxi closer to the room, which made his life much easier.
The place must invest in a coffee machine, even if it's a basic one. Instant coffee, Nescafe is not my thing and it's true with a lot of people I spoke to :)
WiFi didn't work in the room and mobile internet connection was not that good, so if you're planning to get some work done, double check before you book.
Last thing to note, there are no shops around in walking distance so stock yourself with whatever you'll need if you dont plan to go out of the resort, something that we planned to do.
Overall, a good experience. I recommend!
