Went off piste from my usual radisson in the brygge. Decent enough food and a good location for business but absolutely nothing around the hotel to do of an evening so next time I suspect it will back to the city

It is not very close to the airport if that is what you looking for, but was ideal for me. Very nice breakfast and super clean rooms. At first it seemed the hotel looks dated, but it is not. Had some issues with internet connection in the evening, but the next day it was fine. Very good experience in gerneral!

Good nights sleep and close to some offices which worked well for my trip to Norway.
The breakfast was ok, seen better. (eggs a bit tired and dried out)
Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Really good hotel with very helpful staff. We came in from the US unfortunately at a bad time because we had zero sleep on an overnight flight but it was like 8 or 9 in the morning in Norway. They let us check in way earlier than they had to and we were able to catnap. There's a Kiwi supermarket walking distance in one direction as well as a sort of autozone type of store where you can get phone chargers and camping equipment from the nearest main road and if you walk the opposite direction it's a longer walk and probably too far if you're older or with kids, but there's a suburb town with a McDonalds (probably the cheapest you'll be able to buy coffee, food in Norway!) and a nice shopping mall with a pharmacy, electronics stores, and whatever you need. I strongly suggest this hotel as a first stop to get your bearings and stock up on groceries and stuff before exploring Bergen proper. We took a light rail train to a close by stop to the hotel but it's still a bit of a walk from the train stop. May be a bit much if you have a lot of luggage. If you only have a carry on roller you'll be fine. Take advantage of the breakfast spread at the hotel it's quite good!

This place is obviously run with minimum staff to cut cost. Expect to wait 20 mins or more for EVERYTHING. Checkin, service at the bar, a waiter.... And «self service» has been out of order for months.
Restaurant is overpriced, selection was poor, and our food was burned. I guess they get by since there is NO other food to be had nearby.
