Great location

You can get a direct bus from the airport to Promenade D'Anglais and then it is a 5 minute walk from there to the hotel.
Reception staff were friendly, coffee machine in reception area, the hotel is part of a chain, where you can go to any of those hotel's happy hours all over the city on any day. Room was small and walls were very thin. Breakfast was not great.
The most positive thing was the great location, within walking distance of everything.
Wonderful place to stay

We were in Nice, France, at Hotel de Flore for nine days. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful from the lobby staff to the housekeeping staff. Saloua and Jerome at check in were always there to give ideas and directions. Saloua even had a birthday surprise for me. And Valentine at breakfast and "happy time" went out of her way to make our visit pleasant and welcoming.
They are closed for renovations currently but would definitely stay there again upon returning to Nice, which we definitely fell in love with.
Thank you, Hotel de Flore.
Very convenient location

Very nice location. Easy to get to shopping, food, and the beach. Extremely nice staff helped us with dinner reservations. A couple of observations. I didn't care for two separate beds pushed together. Being downtown it can be a bit noisy. If you don't get the breakfast included there are many places to have a nice breakfast for less cost within a few minutes walk. Parking a couple blocks away in the garage is expensive. If you will be there for several days buy a multi day pass. Finally a small piece of feedback for the hotel, don't charge your guests 4 euros per day to use the in room safe. That shouldn't be a source of revenue. Overall a nice place.
Friendly staff, OK rooms

First and foremost I have to stress that all employees I met were very friendly, very helpful!
The building and rooms do have their best days behind them. There is everything you need, but several small things let you know the hotel was not built recently... Expect to be able to hear people talk in the hallway; there is no switch by the bed or by the door to switch off all lights; the hairdryer was rather unstable; closet is not deaper than the hangers; the outlets are at floor level; the mattress could be changed; etc. etc. All just a bunch of small things.
Likewise, the rooms had clearly been properly cleaned, but with old interior it is difficult to get to the bottom - making everything shine so to say.
WiFi: Worked fine - no connection or speed issues at all.
Breakfast: Well, I have to say I was disappointed. Not much to choose from, and eggs and sausages were not warm. Of you need a sturdy breakfast, you should be able to find out right outside the hotel.
Instead of wasting resources having a minibar and leaving mini-chokolades on the pillow, Hotel de Flore has a complementary serving of wine and nibbles, complementary bottle of water (THANK YOU, I needed it), and almost free portable WiFi (mobile data). Kudos for those choices.
I will certainly keep this hotel in mind for my next visit to Nice. It is no luxury getaway, but you can relax and enjoy your stay.
And please read my first paragraph again :-) As an example, while waiting for my a taxi to the airport, I was approached by the receptionist asking me if it was OK to share my taxi with two other guest also flying out. It seemed like his initiative, and I felt no pressure at all. And of course it was OK. We all arrived in time and saved some money :-)

Great location on a quiet street close to old town Nice. Good clean room with an attentive, courteous and friendly staff. We spent some time eating the free hors d oeuvres on the terrace. Would definitely stay here again.
