Worse than disappointed!

It would be generous to say that the folks at this establishment were rude. I can't recall an experience in many decades of world travels that I have experienced such incompetence, rudeness, and outright insults. We cancelled our reservation on the spot and drove nearly two hours to another lodging to get away from these people.

Unclean and very rundown.

Booked up last minute as just wanted somewhere to stay the night after visiting hommassassa springs. First impressions were that it was ok. It was soon evident that we were wrong. Everywhere smells smoky despite booking a non smoking room. Beds were very comfortable and air con was great. However towels could have looked whiter and there was a blob of previous occupant blood smeared on bathroom wall. Carpet was stained with red too. Breakfast was ok but no one was topping coffee pots etc up or cleaning up unless asked. There were unsupervised (seemed to be those of employees ) kids running riot in the dining room. Handling food and dropping stuff on the floor. All of the reception area smells of cigarette smoke. Very disappointed as we have used quality hotels in other places and always been happy. This has spoiled the reputation of quality inns for us and we will avoid in the future .

We arrived to find a room that had a key that wouldn't open the door. we complained and were told they would have someone down to fix it. two hours later, we called and was told again that they would send someone down, but if we needed to leave they had a key that would reopen it.
When we came back from dinner, the door was open........as in able to walk in!!

we again complained to the desk guy that looked like Art Garfunkel (lol) you know, with the goofy hair.
and he pretty much blew us off.

The next day we left our name and number with the day shirt desk person and was told he would call.
after leaving two more calls, he never did return our calls.
all in all this place is terrible. nasty and with bad service. STAY AWAY!!!

Not maintained or Clean!!!

Front desk didn't know which rooms were available. Sent us to room somebody was already in. Key card wouldn't work, told we would have to come to front desk to get let in every time we left. Had to wait at room door when we came back for quite some time before someone could let us in. Bedspread was stained, inside of shower curtain had dirty fingerprints all over it. No wash clothes or hand towels, just 2 bath towels. Hotel not in good shape at all.

Run down & dirty

This hotel is run down and in serious need of a good cleaning. I have stayed here in the past and had no problems but not this time. Our room had two beds, there was no top sheet on one of them. Sheets weren’t changed during our 2 day stay. There were stains on the comforters and bedspreads as well as the chairs and wall. The carpet was dirty. There was a bad smell in the room and a burn mark on the bedspread in our non-smoking room. Breakfast was poor, both the eggs and Canadian bacon were overdone, dry and chewy. There were other problems but I think this paints a good picture of what to expect if you decide to stay here. The only good thing I can say is that Kristy at the front desk and Larry in maintenance were pleasant and helpful. I hope they get some help there soon.
