Went for a change of scenery trip and to visit the local parks for hiking. The room was large and clean and well maintained. We got the hot tub room and it was a nice change of pace and everything worked really well. Room was quiet and the bed was good. The staff was courteous and quick and check in and checkout was painless. Highly recommended. The breakfast was hot and good as well.

Extremely friendly staff. Amazing upgrade to jacuzzi suite after a long stressful weekend. Hot breakfast was delicious. Huge bargain for what you get. Comfortable bed. Quiet. I'll definitely be back when I visit this area again.

A return trip here was as expected. Everyone was friendly at the front desk. Wish I could have gotten their names. Our room was very good, except that the jets in the bath tub did not work. I was looking forward to using it when I first noticed the jets. Little disappointed in that. We were told at checkout, that the room was going to be remodeled and apologies for the jet not working. No big deal. The breakfast was good and had hot items to choose from like waffles, scrambled eggs and biscuits/gravy. This will continue to be our "go to" hotel when returning to the area.

I recently spent three nights at the Quality Inn in Peru, IL. My stay there was first class from the moment I stepped into the lobby. I was greeted warmly, my reservation was quickly located and the Front Desk Clerk thanked me for being a Choice Hotels member. She asked one or two questions about my reason for being in Peru and immediately assigned me to a "Business Suite" in order to make my stay more productive. The room was in excellent condition, as were the entire property and building. I experienced an excellent stay without paying exorbitant rates. I highly recommend the Quality Inn in Peru and will return the next time my business takes me to that area.

Close to starved rock which is why we stayed here. Close to highway. At first they gave us a smoking room (no fault of the hotel, it was defaulted when we reserved the room online). We called the front desk and they immediately made it right and switched our room. Everything was clean and as I would expect. Good rates.
