only one elevator in the front of the building if you are in the back you will have to use the back stairs and lug you suit cases up the stairs. Nice breakfast and location. close to shopping and places to eat.
Good spot to spend a night

This property is located on the east side of town. If you want to be close to downtown Aberdeen, this isn't the place. But, if you're driving through - it's easy to find and very close to a Starbucks (important for me!).
The Inn has an odd entry - small doors to get in, perhaps for the cold weather. But folks at reception are very friendly and on occasion they have fresh-baked cookies. I stayed here twice on my road trip.
The first time I got a single room. The refrigerator was plugged in and cold. Everything was neat and tidy... and clean. It has a small pool and an even smaller spa. Although the spa was hot, the jets just barely move the water. But it felt good at the end of a day on the road.
My first hot breakfast was biscuits 'n gravy with egg patties. Not quite what I expected. But the second one was scrambled eggs with bacon, sausage AND a "ham-like" slice. Good stuff! They also have yogurt, waffles and fruit, beside the sugar and carbs.
Free Aberdeen and USA Today newspapers.
On my second stop, I achieved Choice "Gold" status and got a free room upgrade - to a spa room! As I was alone, all that space was pretty much overkill, but fun to use the spa. Much better jets than their spa by the pool.
On both visits I was on the ground floor and could easily hear kids above me. Luckily, they quieted down by 10:00 pm.
Want to rate it between Average and Very Good.

There were a few cleanliness issues with the stay...the decorative cover strip on the bed had a dried pee stain that was still fairly "fragrant." I didn't complain or tell anyone, just put the cover on the floor with a note for the cleaning staff the next day. We did go down and use the pool and hot tub, it was enjoyable because we were the only two there, but they both needed vacuumed as there was quite a bit of sand accumulation in them both. Otherwise the stay was good, comfortable beds that we've come to find at Choice Hotels.
Great service and accommodations.

My son and I pulled into Aberdeen late and wanted a comfortable place to stay. We've never stayed at a choice hotel, but Jennifer the gal working made choice our new home away from home. She was so friendly and connected with us on a personable level. We felt she wanted us there and not to make money. Her sincerity is what I respected. She even upgraded us to a suite without charging us. Great job Jennifer we will definitely be back when we come through the area again.
We just had one minor issue. The lady working in the morning was very flirty which wasn't appreciated and she might want to chose a different hair color. It was not professional.
Outstandinding staff and service

We arrived a day early, Melissa was very accommodating, helpful and cheery. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Jennifer Christie and Morgan were also very friendly and helpful.
Melissa was very helpful when we had a family medical emergency. After her shift was over, she returned to check how the family member was doing.
By the time we checked out, I felt that all of them were an extended part of the family.
