Nice stay, great breakfast

This is no longer a Quality Inn and is now an independent motel. I was reluctant to stay here because of the bad reviews but couldn't pass up the price. I even discussed the bad reviews with the manager before booking over the phone. She said the bed bugs are gone and their rooms are inspected weekly. They are continuing to fix the motel up.
We had a wonderful stay. The motel is conveniently located. Our room was attractive, spacious and comfortable. I didn't give it the white glove test but there were no bugs or mold. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. They have a small, hot breakfast buffet that is very nice. It had biscuits and gravy, bacon, ham, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. If you don't like these Southern breakfast staples, you are kind of out of luck. The only other thing I saw offered was toast and cold cereal.
RUDE desk clerk, moldy bathroom

This motel is now called the Emerald House - probably because the bathroom was moldy. The guy at the front desk was RUDE RUDE RUDE! The cabinetry was broken and chipped to the point I could rip my clothes. The smoke alarm was MISSING! (Isn't this illegal?) The hallway ice machine flooded the intersection for 10+ feet. We refused to stay. Avoid this place!
Yuck

Worst hotel ever!!! Only pro is the breakfast. It was fine. First off I booked my room in January for a May stay. Got there they gave our room to another couple because there room got flooded from all the rain. We went to room they gave me I opened it up and there was another couple in there. So I went back to desk they gave us another room. Went to that. It was smoking room. Yuck. Smelled so bad. I told the manager he didn't seem concerned said they were all booked. Basically deal with it. We did because we have friends staying in same hotel. He did give us a machine to help with the smoke but it still stunk. We had some friend same thing they had given there room away and someone was in there room also. Not very organized. The water pressure was a trickle litterly . All and in all. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Needs a major overhaul needs some major cleaning. The staff was super nice and breakfast was good That's about it. I hate leaving bad reviews but good luck.
BED BUGS IN ROOM 117

We made the discovery as we were preparing for check out. We took the live bug to the front desk and there wasn't a manager on duty so I asked if he would contact me.
Up to that point, the hotel room was fine. Now, we have the aftermath of hopefully ridding our belongings from any eggs or bugs. So disgusted.
Will not stay again

stayed at this Quality Inn last year when in Bartlesville last year with no problems so booked a room this year. It was not very clean dust on everything, light bulbs out, no coffee in the rooms, could only find one ice machine that worked, Kitchen was under construction fully understand that but the donut box they put out for breakfast had a expiration date that was 3 days past . we will never stay here again.
