Nice and clean
OtPoton 11/11/2017 15:34We stopped here on our way to Canon City based on past experiences with Quality Inn & Suites. We were upgraded to a King Suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. The room was clean as I expected. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. We have no complaints.
Clean place
Phyllis Jon 30/10/2017 03:07Friendly, kind, staff. Close to restaurants and shopping. Ask for a room with view of the mountains. Our second stay there and we would stay there again. Breakfast s typical hotel breakfast, but Sunrise burritos is close by. Nice clean pool.
Quality Inn did not live up to reputation
TJD67on 16/10/2017 02:12We have stayed at many quality inns and are not usually disappointed. Upon entering the hotel, first observation was that it was definitely a family run hotel as the hotel lounge area was completely overrun with the staff family's several children as though it were their very own living room. Additionally, the staff family's children later then commandeered the indoor pool area deterring adults from any desire to indulge in the amenity amongst the splashing and high squeals. We were pleased that as a long standing choice member, we were given a room upgrade however based on our room, lobby area and dining area this quality inn is long overdue for a renovation. Our king bed was beyond soft and reminded me of sleeping in a hammock.The pillows were 9x9 squares; what happened to king size pillows for a king size bed? The sink had several cracks. We stayed in another quality inn and suites a few days later and wow, what a difference between the two.
Good place to stay when visiting Black Canyon
Kelly Pon 11/10/2017 23:49My wife and I were here for four nights in September. Our room was pretty much standard Quality Inn fare, that is, very nice. Comfortable bed, many pillows, good amenities, TV choices, good coffee maker. Not fancy but very adequate. Staff was friendly, property was clean, breakfast was okay. So, no raves, but also no complaints. We would stay there again.
Stay Away
Kimberly Jon 01/10/2017 00:12Tiles broken, carpet pieced together poorly, toilet handle broken, shelves put on the wall crooked. The hotel gets by as cheaply as absolutely possible.
One of the night staff (redhead female) was very nice and pleasant. Otherwise an unpleasant visit.
