I stayed and paid for a room Sept 11th and 12th 2017. When I received my bank statement, there was an unauthorized charge of $78.96 on my card. I contacted my financial institution and the Quality Inn. I spoke to an employee by the name of Tara and she relayed to the Owner/Manager Sonny Mistry. She said that he approved the refund and asked for my card information (including the 3 digit number on the back which my bank said not to give). This was on Sept 28. On Oct 3 I spoke to Sonny and he said it would take 5-6 days for the refund to go through. As of Oct 9 it was still not refunded. I filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau who tried numerous times to contact the Quality Inn with no avail. MY ADVISE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A ROOM IN ARKANSAS CITY IS TO NOT STAY AT THE QUALITY INN OR THE SUPER 8 (which is supposed to be ran by the same people). MY OPINION IS THAT THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES.

The positive: The room was clean.
The negatives: A dribble of water from the bathroom sink (could get more from melting an ice cube); a TV that worked, but not for all channels (also didn't follow the listing in the guest book); an electric clock from the Twilight Zone (ran about 10 minutes fast every hour - really) - at least I was up for my meeting in time...1 1/2 hours early; several lamps without light bulbs, but no problem - staff delivered to my room as promised...in just under 4 hours.
Worst of all, the people at the front desk. Nothing but excuses (at least they were polite). And when I arrived home after staying 1 night instead of two, I checked my bill online and was surprised to see I was being charged for 3 nights instead of one!
Called the hotel, spoke with the manager, who had nothing but...you guessed it...excuses. She said she would definitely get back with me once she figured out what happened. I'm sure her call is coming any minute...it's only been one week.
That notwithstanding, the charges were corrected.

I booked the room at choicehotels.com so at least I got a discount but the 1st downfall when I went to the front desk was that the pool and hot tub were out of order until further notice! That was exactly why I booked the room but the kind gentleman behind the desk gave us an upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi which btw took 45 minutes to fill but was well worth the wait! The hotel is pet friendly so that was nice because we brought our 2 pets. We had an atrium view so had 2 entrances to our room which we soon realized we had to go out the back door because the other door wouldn't lock without the deadbolt. the air was either on or off, the dial didn't regulate it very well at all. We were woken up at 230 am to slamming doors and a party in the atrium and waited a little while for someone in charge to take care of it but no one ever did so I called the desk and ask about all the noise and he said it was a party and it was almost over and I ask if this was okay to make all this noise and he said yes. I couldn't believe it. On the plus side the room was clean and very large and the bed was very nice and comfortable. There also was a large TV microwave and refrigerator

We did not have a good experience at all here. The maintenance was poor and several things (the pool, the ice machine) were not functional. There were periods of time that the front desk was unattended. Some of the rooms were in disrepair. The outside of the property is unkempt. Even though we had booked online reservations, we were told that they only had us for one night and then kept adding a night at a time for a different rate. Please look at other hotels if visiting the area.

I stayed here for almost 3 months and never had any trouble, I got room service everyday and very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was fare and hot, they try to change breakfast item three times week. I strongly recommend this hotel.
