We booked the room online again and chanced it, as it was an overnight stay. Looks a bit rough from the outside as it is being renovated. We got an upstairs room and it looked good, new carpeting and paint. A bit of an odd smell we put up to the fact it was being updated. Our trusty room diffuser took care of it. (we always carry one). The heater seemed to work well however, there was not actual hot water in the shower - but really hot water in the sink ?!?
There was a breakfast bar in the morning but we deferred to a restaurant.
It was an inexpensive room and good in a pinch. We hope the upgrade will continue to improve the property.

This is a wonderful stop over hotel, priced very fair. They have been updating this location and our room had been updated. However the bed they call a queen size is actually a double, no big deal - but call it what it is. Our coffee maker was missing the little tray to make coffee, the outside of the building still needs work, but overall a great location for a stop over.

Had a family funeral to attend in Ky. so I stopped northbound on Wed. from Fl. I got a nice room late at night. There is a little noise from the highway but no big deal. The clincher was a great breakfast: eggs,sausage, bisquits and thick gravy. Add coffee and pastries -- a very filling breakfast. This place is very affordable-- so much so that on my way south on Friday, I stopped again-- even got the same room and same good breakfast. There is remodeling going on but it's on the second floor and I only noticed it on the last visit. This will be my new stop on I-65N.

At check in there were workers doing "renovations". The worker did not stop sanding as guests were coming in. There was dust flying everywhere. The rooms need renovation. Bathroom in bad condition. Nonsmoking room smelled of smoke.

We always stay here with our dog. Good place to take a pet to walk on grass. They are remodeling but it did not interfere with our stay. Great hot breakfast. Easy on and off expressway. Should be very nice when updating is complete.
