Friendly staff, clean room, nice mattress and pillows. Nice choice of things for the breakfast they serve. It was quiet , got a good nice sleep. The one thing that bother my husband was the a/c was a little noisy.

Recently stayed here for a fishing trip and won't be back here on our future trips to Florence. Let's start with the ice machine, mold mold and mold. This ice goes into the chilled water at the breakfast buffet. The guest laundry was absolutely filthy, had to locate a laundromat. The room we had, had a gnat or fruit fly infestation. Told the front desk but nothing happened. The billing is a joke as well, one day in to the stay they billed us in full for the week, this was a first, and the general manager was not very helpful and said that's just how they do it, have never heard or seen this. Boat parking was not great but worked out. We will be back to Florence many more times as we had fell in love with North Alabama but we will not stay at the Quality Inn again. The Residence Inn by Marriott was a little more expensive but hands down is the better choice.

We chose the Quality Inn over the Comfort Inn across the street because it was about $10 cheaper. We always stay at Choice Hotels and they are somewhat similar. The price we paid for this hotel, we would have expected more. I booked online as we were traveling there the same day. When we arrived, I noticed the desk clerk out front talking to someone and followed us in. Can't say he was overjoyed we were there, but was polite and got us registered. The entrance needed cleaning up, sweeping debris off sidewalk, front doors needed some good windex and paper towels. As we got on the elevator, (very warm) there were signs posted on wall that the floor was wet and be careful. When we got to the second floor and the elevator door opened, there was a heavy duty fan blowing on the carpet, which appeared damp and the hallway was very warm. Maybe leaking around the ac vent in ceiling? The rooms were clean, appeared new carpet, fresh paint.
King bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The tub with shower head was low, so you had to duck under it to get wet. The next morning I went to dry my hair and the blowdryer didn't work. I went downstairs to front desk clerk and she gave me one in a box, not brand new, but it did work. She was very nice and helpful. Surprised no one else told them it didn't work, because it should have been replaced. We didn't eat the continental breakfast, so can't comment on that. All in all, not disappointed we stayed there, but if we were to go back to that city again, we would try the Comfort Inn.

We have been staying in Econo Lodge's, and they have just been slacking lately! We tried Quality Inn and was so happy that we did!! Very clean, great breakfast, free WiFi. The staff was very nice! We got a wonderful nights sleep.

I tried to find this hotel by my GPS at 12:00 am that I had called ahead for a reservation. It directed me to a very respectable looking funeral home each time. I just started wandering in larger circles and finally found it. I thought this was very amusing afterwards that maybe the finding the funeral home was supposed to be my destination ! Too funny.
Other than that the hotel was good , bed was comfortable, people friendly, desk clerk was nice . All good.
