Great location close to airport, room was older, but clean. It was a good price for a nights stay and free parking while travelling for 2 weeks. shuttle bus driver was friendly. However shuttle was full when we arrived and we had to wait for him to return to collect us, aprox 20 minutes. That being said, he waited to make sure everyone's car started before driving away.

I recently stayed at the Quality Inn by the Halifax airport and was pleased with their service and accommodations.
I was travelling with my dog so I had to find a pet friendly hotel that accepted bigger dogs and did not charge a fortune extra to accommodate them. This place did both.
I did have one negative experience with a front counter person when I stopped by to see if I could possibly check in early because of plan changes. She acted like I was an mild inconvenience and her answers to me when nothing short of curt and snippy.
When I went back to check in at the normal check in time, the person behind the front desk now was great.
The room I got was a good size with a nice sitting area that was perfect for hosting a couple of friends that evening.
Bathrooms were clean but the shower head was not the greatest.
The free hot breakfast was not bad but the sausage patties were very greasy, like swimming in grease. The do-it-yourself waffles were a nice touch and a good selection of items to eat.
Overall the place is a good value for the money and most of all clean and well looked after.

Like many people we booked this hotel for Tuesday night before an early flight departure Wednesday morning. When I checked my credit card they had actually charged about $0.50 more than their reservation confirmation...no big deal, just strange. Then the day of our booking a new $2.88 charge appeared from them on my credit card. I emailed them and received a "we'll get right back to you reply", but they never did get back. Meantime I asked the girl at check in what was going on. Her response was "oh that's odd" to the first mis-billing, and "oh they do that extra billing because we're near the airport...I don't know why they just bill it the day of arrival". No apology, no offer to remove it. That hotel routinely has over 100 clients per night...so they're pulling in usually an extra $288 from us over their quoted pricing. That's just bad behavior and we won't deal with dishonest people like that again. The room was fine...basic, but fine.

4 am shuttle - Jenny was very helpful. She paid close attention to luggage loading, careful driver in cold weather, good customer service. Thanks Jenny. Made it to the departure, with time for a coffee too.

We stayed at the hotel and flew out in the morning. The shuttle service from the hotel in the morning was courteous and quick. The driver gave me the card to call for the shuttle when I returned and said that if it took more then 20 minutes then something was wrong. When I returned to Halifax I called the number and was told the shuttle would be on the way. I waited 20 minutes and no shuttle. I called and was told that they would send the shuttle back - kind of hard to send something that didn't come. another 20 minutes, another call. Finally after almost 50 minutes and a crying 9 year old the shuttle arrived!
