mr. roger at the front desk help us out to put our luggage in the room. the hotel is clean, quiet even with the dog staying at the hotel. didn't have one with us but we appreciate hotels of the quality which allows the pet. I am very happy with my stay. i will defiantly staying here again when i traveling to the baton rouge.

We arrived - manager of the properties checked us in!! Not the friendliest fellow!!
Room was clean - although bathroom showed much wear and tear!!
Asked manager about a good place to eat — was not helpful. We decided to order delivery Italian!
View from room was a storage area and dump!
Breakfast was microwave egg omelets and sausage soaking in hot water!!
Check out was a task — waited until 7:15 for his arrival. Like the Choice Properties that slide the bill under your door!! Manager seemed preoccupied upon his arrival!! Sorry we bothered him!

The mattress was comfortable and the room was clean. The front desk clerk wasn't particularly friendly but that was fine. The breakfast was normal and the lady was friendly and refilled everything immediately. She also wished us a safe trip when we left. Room had a clock, which I like, and was spacious.

Hotel staff were kind, but appeared aloof, and relatively uninterested in our being there, much less our happiness. The bed was hard, the air conditioning was caught up in the curtains, our window faced an abandoned dump site of clutter complete with a decaying mattress. Hotel guests were not allowed to park on that side of the hotel. Not that you'd want to park there, but I didn't feel secure about my average vehicle overnight. The shower had the number 6 written in black on the tops of 3 tiles on 3 different walls, where it appeared cleaning had tried to remove the numbers but failed. The caulking was considerably mildewed, and bathroom lighting was less than inviting. The worst part was the roach that came up to see what was on my plate at breakfast while it was on the buffet counter. Breakfast was average and less than enthralling, but did have a waffle maker and some mini American cheese only omelets. The lobby by the breakfast lounge appeared to be a hangout for the locals, even those not staying at the hotel. I'll give it points for room layout, which left the room feeling like a suite with the partition between the bed and the chair. The room was nicely furnished and decorated, but the atrium was beautifully furnished and decorated.

Just in for the night, so I only spent about 10 hours total in the room, and 7 of it was sleeping. The breakfast was decent, and the service was pretty good. The check in process was entirely too long...took maybe close to 20 minutes, and I had a reservation. The TV wouldn't come on...they were going to change my room at 1030 at night....finallly got it working, but there should have been a maintenance person that could come look at it instead of asking the guest to move all of their things. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable stay, which was most immportant to me.
