Great rooms
Sue Don 16/10/2017 21:50The suites are nice and big, love the king size bed in a separate room with closing doors. Everything worked well. The breakfast was fair to good with some variety. Staff were friendly. We were there for a hockey tournament and you could tell they were used to handling crowds.
Rooms were quiet. I would definitely return.

Brian Gon 03/10/2017 19:40I am writing to express my absolute displeasure about being asked to leave your hotel so abruptly, especially given the fact that I was a long term guest at your hotel and assisted you with minor things around the hotel.
I am lodging a complaint against another guest at your hotel, similar to the report she has filed on me with you. There was no threats whatsoever, just a lot of bad words exchanged and some insults. These were made on my part as well as the other guest. I am astonished that I would be asked to leave based on your one sided complaint received. She even threatened to let her beast overweight of a dog on me and my dog.
My dog had ruined her collar and came off the leash accidently.
My dog was not really bugging the lady but was interested in saying hi to her dog, as she had done previously a day or two before I might add.
On the cannabis use, there are several other guests in your hotel who are using, which I have even witnessed and discussed with them. It's too bad your hotel's filtration system pushes smoke around to non-smoking units. All guests should be confronted on this and not one guest singled out.
I have come to know many of your staff who have all been fantastic, although disappointed that my stay has ended like this.
I am requesting that you remove the other guest from your hotel as you have done with me. Also, make sure you provide her with a half hour to exit the premises with a security guard as you never know how violent she could get!. Hopefully she does not have the same amount of belongings I had with me. I have been seeking employment and house purchase and was utilizing your hotel to fill a gap.
To throw a guest like me out on the street with nowhere to go is completely and utterly disrespectful.
I would appreciate if you could forward your superiors' names to me so I can also send them a note. I am sure they would be interested in hearing how this has been handled. You should also be a little more professional when asking a guest to write a complaint on one of your staff, which I did to support you and your efforts in that regard.
Also, too bad that you did the regular hotel manager did not hande this and asked a new employee to do the business, who proceeded to lie to me at your front desk. Again, disappointing.
I would be pleased to know that the other guest has also been treated in the same manner as me, asked to leave your hotel due to a threat on another guest.

Tom1947Don 13/09/2017 15:19We arrived late on Saturday night, Sept. 9th ; the receptionist was very pleasant and explained that the only room left was a smoking room with 2 beds for $192; when asked about a CAA discount she advised that since the hotel was fully booked no discounts would be given; due to our tiredness we agreed to take the room; she was very accommodating and went ahead of us to air out the room as well as she could; the rug in the room was soiled. The noise from the highway made getting to so difficult we put the fans on to mask the noise. The breakfast room, in my opinion, was too small for the size of the hotel. We have stayed at Quallity Suites/Inns before however this will negatively impact my choices in the future.

The carpets are filthy (even in the room) they don't give you the proper information when you book, only when you get there and it's too late to do anything about it, the bathroom door doesn't close properly....and when you tell them that you will give them a bad review the girl at the reception says "that's ok it's not my hotel" WTH? You would expect more when you book a suite!

Terry Bon 08/08/2017 20:50The hotel has been there awhile and is starting to show it's age. The room needed new carpeting as old stains showed thru. The ceiling tiles between the bedroom and bathroom were all stained from a previous water leak. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the free morning breakfast was ok better than a free muffin and coffee that you get at other hotels. All in all it was a nice stay for the night.
