Fabulous balcony to my room. Perfect environment for finishing off a piece of work. Staff very helpful in arranging trips and restaurants. Bit difficult to find if you're arriving first time in the dark...

The QB is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in.
The décor is very attractive and has great taste and the garden is a delight.
Breakfast is simple but very pleasant and the staff, particularly Michelle, very helpful.
Only disappointments were TV and Wi-Fi not functioning properly and we were surprised to find that a taxi to the centre was E17 compared with 8 or 9 mentioned in the Hotel Facts Folder

Quinta Bonita can be found with some difficulty on the hillside just north of Lagos. The villa was originally a family home and is beautifully furnished . The extensive grounds have a number of special areas including the Italian Garden,the orchard and the frog pond. Adults only at this quiet retreat, and there are plenty of shady areas as well as sunny spots by the pool. We had a large private terrace outside our room, from where we could just see the sea in the morning , and watch the sunset in the evening. Excellent service, particularly from Pedro who did their best to make our stay an enjoyable one. Really enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace and it was a shame that they were unable to offer a meal in the evening. There was the option of ordering a cold snack and a cooked meal on a Wednesday evening .We were aware of this when we booked, but having to drive into Lagos or go by taxi was a downside to our stay in Quinta Bonita.

Beautiful property. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful - provided tips on where to go, booked dinners + taxis, provided beach towels and umbrellas, etc. Breakfast was delicious and overlooks beautiful gardens. Peaceful and charming gardens. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Would recommend anyone traveling to Lagos to stay here! Also sits back from downtown Lagos (only a 5 minute drive) so separates you from the hustle and bustle.

Quinta Bonita is a smart and stylish comfortable villa-style boutique hotel in beautiful gardens a very short drive from a stunning selection of Algarve beaches and under an hour's drive from Faro airport. It is a very good place for peaceful relaxation but with its good road connections is also well placed for exploring the Algarve, Capo Sao Vicente and up to the mountains. The hosts can help you book excursions and advise on restaurants for dinner, recommend walks and work hard to make sure you really enjoy your stay.
