Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Queen size bed with little room on either side, but facing the fjord - the quieter side of the hotel. The bathroom had a shower which was clean but small. No individual air conditioning. Windows do open. The breakfast buffet is very nice with the usual English/continental food - good quality.
Facing the street can be noisy as the bar street of Aalborg is right across the street from the hotel.
Parking is DKK 95.00 for one night.

I have used this hotel several times.
And I am still comming back.
Amazing beds - good parking and quiet rooms.
The breakfast could be better, but I like the twist With the chef Cooking eggs for us.
It is Close to everything you want to see in Aalborg.

This is a well locate hotel just across the road from restaurants, cafes and the river and while it isn’t something I am interested in the casino next door. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and the rooms while a little tired are a good size, clean and comfortable. The lobby, restaurant and bar have recently been renovated and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

Great location, but the rooms are bit small. Good for business trips. I was there for 4 nights in the mid of June, 2017. At that time they were renovating the part of the premises, so there were lot going on with the place.

Stayed for a week while working. The hotel was nice enough, a decent amount of parking (although spaces a little tight) pleasant staff and good state of the place and cleanliness. The bar is shut on Sunday's. The bar staff are a little slow on service. Watch out for the lack of alcohol % on the beer pumps (pale ale came in at a surprisingly strong 6.6%!). The buffet breakfast was very good, all fresh and nicely laid out. The rooms were compact and pretty basic but ok. Beware the windows which fully open if you choose, this looked pretty dangerous to me so I chose to angle it as a narrow slot at the top rather than fully open into the room.
During the weekdays the night noise was bearable, however, on Friday and especially Saturday night it's like some sort of human zoo in the street outside. Great location if you're on a party weekend with a street full or bars and clubs a short stagger away. If you're working, not so good! People screaming in the street until 5am meant little sleep at the weekend. Avoid a room facing the road, try to get one facing the river to minimise the noise. I had one on the side, in between the two, and it was really noisy. I would have closed the window completely but with no air conditioning in the room it was a case of choosing the be cooler but disturbed by noise or have a quieter time in a warm room.
Hotel was selected for work and served its purpose.
