I am currently staying at this hotel. Check-in was wonderful. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The room, on the other hand, was worn with stained carpet. The room was cold and the heater didn't work so engineering brought up a portable heater. I was greeted with a half-eaten bag of potato chips in the mini bar drawer and an opened/used hand lotion container in the bathroom. Oh, and the bottled water was tagged at $7+ per bottle... The Hilton in Helsinki gave me two bottles of water at no charge.
The real shock came today as I planned to get some work done in my room and the construction noise started. Directly above my room. I requested and was granted a new room. The bellman was busy so a front desk clerk helped me move all my stuff up to the newly refurbished room which was much smaller. Once I unpacked and got settled into the room and began working the construction noise started up again! Unbelievable! And there is also no heat in this room so I was glad I moved the portable heater with me.
The restaurant on the lobby level is very good with a new menu. I saw locals eating there last evening.
Overall, I would stay away until they get the remodeling done.

Just back from 3 night stay in Copenhagen. We want to thank Brian and his staff sincerely for the warm and generous welcome we received in the hotel during our stay.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were most helpful and friendly, coming out from behind the reception desk to welcome us. They made us feel totally at ease. We stayed in a newly refurbished room on the 14th floor, elegant decor and extremely comfortable with fabulous views of the city. Breakfast was top class in the newly opened restaurant down stairs. Bar and reception area great for relaxing. Ideal location just across from Central station and Tivoli and the city centre. Again thank you Brian and staff for a most enjoyable stay at your hotel.... we will be back!! Donal & Bridget, Co Tipperary.

Just home from my weekend in Copenhagen and just wanted to extend my gratitude to Brian Gleeson and his crew at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.
From the moment we checked in until parting the level of service we received was second to none.
Brian must be complemented on the way he manages this Hotel. We shared the Hotel with international soccer stars government ministers and pillars of society and Brian always found time for a “hello” and a hand shake.
Check in was swift and courteous. Our room on the 9th floor corner over looked the Tivoli Gardens was spotless and contained practically everything we required for our stay. (I forgot my adapter), once again our man Brian sorted this out.
I must give a mention to Ernesto in the bar, another gentleman, a top class barman by any standard.
The Hotel is an excellently located in the center of Copenhagen close to the shopping areas, and a short taxi trip out to Carlsberg.
All told, a great place to stay.

Booked a single room, and it was tiny - small single bed, tiny bathroom. But the staff was very nice and helpful. the access to the "real" fitness center next door is great, excellent breakfast. Had dinner there too - very good food, nice staff and atmosphere.
Very quiet room despite being not so high up.

Reserved a Suite on the 19th floor. Beautiful designer hotel, spacious room. Comfort, Class, Style, with top notch service from the minute you arrive until you leave. The breakfasts where fantastic and fresh.
