We took High Tea here. This meant two mugs of sweet tea and four cardamom biscuits. The view of the Taj was wonderful but the hotel seemed grotty, with small dark rooms. Would give it a miss if i were you.

The quality of the rooms is average and the location is good. The main problem we faced is the management of the hotel who took us for a ride despite the fact that the hotel is tun by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
We booked with the hotel a vehicule with driver to go back to Delhi which was supposed to be a AC Toyota Innova. The hotel asked us to pay in advance which we did.
On the day of departure, we were first surprised to see that the vehicule that they actually send us a smaller, less confortable (and obviously cheaper) vehicule.
We then insisted to actually get an Innova, vehicule we had booked.
Finally after weighting half an hour, an Innova came and we started our journey to Delhi. We took a stop on the way. Once we got back on the car, the AC was suddenly not working. We suspect it was deactivated manually to save fuel. A non-AC car would have actually costed half as much.
Since we had pre-payed the travel we could not do anything about it.
3 lessons to draw:
1- Do not go to this hotel
2- Do not book services from the hotel
3- Never pre-pay services.

For all those wanting a cheap place to stay....please do not get deceived by this place. This place isn't cheap and is by far the worst guest house I have ever come across. The only good feature about this hotel is its close proximity to the Taj monument, allowing you some breath taking glimpses of the magnificent structure from the hotel's terrace garden.
Apart from this, it is highly NOT RECOMMENDED to stay at this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for three days. We booked two deluxe rooms.The rooms were good and spacious. But hot water was not available but the staff managed from other rooms. The mound was good with view of the Taj which is at walking distance from hotel. One can see peacocks roaming near rooms.The food quality was good. Overall food for family with kids. Nice stay with calm surrounding a.

Stay at Taj Khema ... and 'feel' Taj. Enjoy cup of coffee/tea while watching Taj.
Comfortable stay. Soft-spoken staff and tasty food. view Taj from lawn area. Enjoy sunrise and sun set. From same point you will see the two different color shade of Taj... Choose "full moon" dates.
