This is situated near the first of the ghats the Assi Ghat. It is away from the main area of Varanassi and thank god it is (the area is quite and peaceful). You can walk to the Ghats or take an auto taxi (very cheap). The rooms are big and very well appointed. The owner can organize day trips or boat rides on the Ghanga. The roof top terrace is a great place to watch the river and have dinner or breakfast

A lovely place to stay overlooking the Ganges, the staff were lovely, friendly and happy to help. The chef come waiter was a great guy, nothing was too much trouble for him, he even went out and did some shopping for us. A great place to stay.

Amazing river-view rooms and wonderful rooftop balcony. A bit off the action but a great place to rest and you can get a boat from here headed for the ghats and back. Great food menu, esp western food like porridge. Great service. Wifi is fine too. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The Guest house is really lovely, has a nice view on the roof top. It's a little bit far from all the Ghats, (15 minutes by feet) but it worth the silence after all the noise. The food is really good, a lot of variety. The service is a little bit slow, but... you are in India!
The rooms are clean, but the mattress is uncomfortable (really hard). Enough space to unpack your bag. Easy to book activities with good price (300 rupees for a boat tour in the sunrise or sunset, 800 rupees for a shuttle to the airport at 1h30 from there). Staff friendly. I would recommend !

We are doing backpacking for some month in Asia, have seen a lot of hostels/Hotels in India. Enough for a couple of days to see the most of Varanasi. Nice restaurant on the rooftop with a good view over ganges and the ghats.
