B100IIthomasbon 12/11/2017 17:54Great location in downtown Cumberland, which is to say that its near a pretty good bar and a Mc Donalds (breakfast). They have breakfast, but choose Mickey D's. The coffee at the hotel is not really coffee. That said, room is inexpensive, shower works and the bed is fine. Staff is pleasant on check in and tried to be helpful.
Nice hotel, poor services
Chris Mon 10/11/2017 03:12We booked for 3 nights because my wife had a class at allegany college and is enrolled there. They told her that the hotel gave student discounts, did not receive a discount but oh well. The school then said that she didn’t have class the last day so we wished to cancel the last night, the lady at the counter was nice and said that I could stay until my wife got out of her class, at 315 I wanted to verify what time exactly I could check out and the other female said that it was at 3 and I pretty much had to get out of the room, great way to put it and then got off the phone and then called back saying she gave me false information and that I was able to stay until later, if you didn’t know why did you say anything let alone something as rude as that. I then went to Harrington’s to get food, the lady there was overwhelmed with a couple people, a random customer walked out to the front desk to get help, Winta was her name and came over to help didn’t even know what coors light looked like and instead of helping, she was bad mouthing the one gentlemen and if I was able to hear her the gentleman was able to hear her. At the day of checkout I went to the front desk and went to checkout with my wife’s card, winta from the other night had my card on file from checkin and said that if I was to use my wife’s card my card would be frozen for 3-5 days and was being rude about it the whole time. Bottom line I will never stay at that hotel again and won’t even tell my enemies to stay at that hotel!

joycehE1002PCon 09/11/2017 00:01I had requested a lowest floor, when I got there it was 2 pm....the clerk told me 6th floor after getting upset because I had made reserve.....1 mo ago........he finally said if I didn't need the room right away if I came back later I could have a room on the 2nd floor..Well when we got back to the hotel we had a room on the 2nd floor, I didn't notice the bed we had been driving 5 hrs to get there it was a double bed, only 1 bed, never in years have I seen 1 bed in a room that size, we had a miserable night after all that............

cnt1248on 08/11/2017 02:18The trains run all night and you hear them! We were there for a train trip so it was fine. They said they had earplugs but they weren't in any of my families rooms.
Check in was smooth, the ladies at the desk were nice. We had a 3 rooms on the 5th floor. Odd number rooms are on the same side as the hotel as the train tracks. It also means you can see the trains coming through which my grandson loved!
The bathroom had a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower curtain rod. There was hair in the tub. The breakfast area was packed and the omelette line gets long but moves quickly. The sausage didn't look like any sausage I've ever seen before so we didn't eat it.
It wasn't a great place to stay but if you get a clean room (which ours wasn't) at your stay the rest of the stuff is small.
