I was a part of a group that stayed at the Ramada on Saturday September 9th. Upon arrival, we were happy to see that the outdoor pool was still open (and heated!) to enjoy the beautiful September weather.
Our group appreciates the convenient location of the hotel, being able to park right outside the room for convenience, and having close access to all amenities. Rooms have been updated, and front desk makes check in very simple.

I went up to Grand Forks, BC, where I had grown up, to visit friends and family and wanted to have my own space to stay in as home base. I chose the Ramada because its location was perfect for several people I wanted to see although there were cheaper hotels available. I also liked having the chain brand behind the place, too. I wasn't let down at all. Everything was neat and tidy even though things are dated. I worried the highway traffic would be noisy but it really wasn't a factor in my sleep at all. The bathrooms look newly upgraded, flat screen TVs were good sized and there was ample parking. Continental breakfast included hard boiled eggs and the coffee and OJ were appreciated (in-room coffee was good, too). I did not try the Japanese restaurant on site. I did have a small refrigerator in my room but didn't use it. If you want a hot breakfast and a super modern place, this isn't your hotel but I found the breakfast suited me just fine with a new Vancouver Sun newspaper there every morning for me to get caught up with the Canadian scene. I would definitely stay there again.

A very pleasant stay in a clean room with all necessary amenities and polite service.They serve a tasty breakfast too. Easy access from the highway. Close to a good Japanese restaurant.
Adding anything else would just be a matter of grossly over gilding the lily, as my father used to say in another century! Thank you.

We stopped over on our way through. We arrived at around 8pm without a reservation and the staff were great. The motel itself is very dated and the room smelled musty, and smoky. There were people sitting out in the parking lot drinking and smoking, not overall the kind of place I like to stay at twice.

Air Conditioner was great. we got a room that had a bedroom in it. The kitchenette was amazing (small fridge tho) The beds were comfortable. The pool was Fantastic for the kids. No hot tub. The breakfast was decent. Hot hard boiled eggs, Toast. Muffins and some fruit. Lots of clean towels. They have a Jacuzzi tub suite that looked promising. Next time for sure. A pre authorization was put on the Credit card for the whole stay and then we were just charged for the stay. That was great. Back of the hotel was facing an empty field with an elementary school near by. The kids brought their bikes and were able to bike around safely.
