Good quiet accommodation after a long flight but the rooms need refurbishment. The continental breakfast was excellent, speedy check-in and a very reliable regular airport transfer service on the half hour.

Lipstick on a pig. the staff barely tolerate the inconvenience of having to deal with guests, the bed was uncomfortable and the amenities basic. they are doing renovations and the garbage bin is in the check-in parking and there isn't any other place posted.

Average 2* hotel but ideal place to stay overnight and getting to the airport as they offer a free shuttle service every half hour.
The hotel is clean with good beds but old fashioned with really worn out carpets, not only in the doorways but in the room, too. So better leave your shoes on!
Friendly personnel but unpleasant breakfast room with worn or damaged furniture and constantly switched on TV although nobody listened. More like a "walk-through room".
Noisy street but slept well due to well isolated windows but had to get used to the overpowering smell of orange detergents.

Vancouver is a very expensive town, but the relatively affordable Ramada Limited Vancouver Airport served our needs very well. (We stayed in Vancouver for two nights either side of a trip to a remote part of British Columbia.) A hotel close to the airport for those 4 flights, plus close to a SkyTrain station for sightseeing was crucial for us. The rail station was a bit further on foot than I expected, but as consolation there were lots of places to eat within walking distance, too. The hotel shuttle was also reliable and important to us.
The room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, our room faced the road, so we heard late-night partiers on the street and hallway noise late at night when other guests arrived. (We stayed over a weekend.) On the positive side, we could look down through the breakfast room skylight & note when the fruit re-appeared! (See TIP below.)
Front desk staff was very helpful when we asked for directions or help with restaurant selection. The folks in the breakfast room---Marina in particular---were fantastic! She asked if we wanted drink refills, and she was quick to replenish food service areas. They offer one hot food per day (one day was waffles, another eggs, I think), but overall breakfast was heavy on carbs and prepared foods---pastries, breads, cereal, and the like. I would have liked to see yogurt and/or hard boiled eggs, but I made do with the fruit and cereal instead.
I wish we could have reserved this hotel for the return segment of our journey, but it was booked 4 months out. I can see why! It is a decent hotel with very good service at a reasonable price.
TIP: If you want fresh fruit, you should go to breakfast early, as it seems they often run out. We made the mistake of eating later our first day, when there was no more fruit available.
