We had rented the hotel for marathon weekend of november 18-19.
From internet booking.com rooms pretty.
In fact it is an hold motel with cheap paint.
Rooms are the only thing not disgusting.
Toilet and bath are scratch, we could not use the elevator so we walked our self up to the smelling fire stairway, like everyone else, those doors slams right back at you.
Guess what, wakes you up everytime at night. Oooops, forgot to mention, the 2 nights we were there, because the last one top it all my prior experiences, the fire alarm rang about 25 times in between 2 and 5 am. Those folks, just rest the button instead of finding the issue.
The very first night only five times.
I think, i am ready for the army!

We are currently staying in the Penrose Hotel, and so far I’m not impressed.
We got upgraded to a king sized room, but the shower in our bathroom doesn’t work and the room has the worlds loudest air conditioner - when it’s turned off it’s far too hot, and when on it makes a loud noise for about 10 minutes every few hours (meaning we work up 3 times in the night before we gave up and turned it off)
When we booked we were told it was free parking, but when we arrived the front desk tried to charge us $10 to use the car park. However, to their credit, they did remove this cost when we argued it.

Our car was left at the hotel for 7 days while we went on vacation, we left by air from Philadelphia Airport when we returned we saw that our new car had been keyed while on their parking lot. They told us they had video cameras but would not help us to discover who did it. We called them approximately 10 times over a week to speak to the manager he never came to the phone he never called us back.

Stay away from this hotel. It is everything that is wrong with running an hotel. Was on the 14th floor, elevator did not work. Dirty staff. No internet. Terrible odor everywhere. This place is a joke. You are better off sleeping in your car or at a public park.

I truly do not even know how this place is still open!! Someone needs to contact the BBB and the health department! I feel unsafe. I'm sure the front desk is sick of complaints. We can't even get in the elevator without someone complaining about it. Between the dirty blankets, the dirty cracks in corners of every piece of this property I really don't know how it's open for business. Can't even get cold water or ice - it's a mess here! Half the electricity is out, gross trash in the hallways. JUST STAY AWAY! FAR AWAY!
