dpowers2017on 24/10/2017 07:07Very well appointed room...fairly large with a sofa, desk, king bed. nice but there was no reading light on the right side...that is a downfall in my opinion..must have reading lamps on both sides,It was situated next to a White Spot and there was inside access to that was a plus. The desk staff were business like and a bit stiff. could be a bit more friendly. Everything was clean and the bathroom was fine. No robes.
Quality is Average
Roy Henry Von 22/10/2017 19:20I recently stayed at the Quality Hotel. This hotel is located parallel to Hwy 1 a very noisy location.
The rooms were average and it but a White Spot Restaurant attached which was a blessing.
The rooms on the opposite side of the hotel would be the rooms to request as they would be further from the noisy highway.
Nice stop after 9 hour drive
Gary Ron 20/10/2017 21:03Hotel was clean and comfortable. Wheelchair access was good. Easy on and off Trans Canada Hwy. Pet friendly. Staff courteous with easy check in and out. Definitely stay again. Family fun center and small mall nearby.
Fine Hotel but nowhere to walk your dog
RoadsideYogaon 29/09/2017 17:31We stayed at the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre on our way from Calgary to the Gulf Islands. Our room was ok, clean but a bit shabby. Staff were pleasant. We specifically stayed at this hotel because we read a few reviews that highlighted it was good for pets. Although we had no issues having our dog with us, there is absolutely nowhere to walk a dog from the hotel. We tried to make our way to a nearby park recommended by the hotel staff, but had to turn back as we were walking down the shoulder of a busy road where motorists were speeding by and actually yelling out their windows at us. Very unsafe. Not within the hotel's control but as a pet owner we would have liked to have known this and probably would have found somewhere else to stay where we could easily take our pooch for a walk.
Excellent hotel for the rate, very good for traveling with dogs.
onabouton 15/09/2017 17:2525% off the White Spot adjacent to the property was an excellent breakfast perk. Large, comfortable, quiet room. Nicely upgraded bathroom. Everything worked :). I was lucky to snag convenient parking in a covered structure close to entrance most of my stay - super when traveling with dogs. Also lots of shade in the parking lot (it was hot outside at the time I was there). Wish there was a little nicer area to potty dogs near the building. There are lots of great places to walk in the general area.
I would have preferred a room with a window view. Wifi didn't work with my newer iPad, but was okay with my older phone. Verizon cell reception generally bad all over Abbotsford.
Staff very friendly & accommodating. Indoor Jacuzzi was relaxing & just the right temperature, not too hot. Manager was very kind and extended my stay at the same great price, plus a friends room. Excellent customer service!
