Ideal location!! Value for money place. Bang on the riverside with free boat service, Tuk Tuk service. Easy road and rail transport access. Proximity to Asiatique and local street food. Excellent service. Friendly Staff. I must mention Ms. May for her handling our check-in, Ms. Kelly for her local tour guidance, Ms. Nahathai for efficient handling of my booking. Experience to remember. Going back again :)

Unfortunately we were only here for 2 nights and wish we had been able to stay longer.
We arrived well after midnight (we had advised the hotel of our very late arrival) and were greeted by name, sit down relax whilst we get you checked in. A welcome drink and a cold face washer and a young lady accompanied us to our room.
A very pleasant nights sleep in a comfy bed with good pillows. An amazing breakfast, really something for everyone, and again extremely friendly staff. We met the General Manager Mr. Willem Pentermann, who stopped by our table and introduced himself and chatted with us a while.
We caught the free shuttle boat to Saphan Taksin to catch the BTS. We returned back to the pier to get the shuttle boat back to the hotel. What a nice touch to be offered a cold face washer and a cold drink of water for the return journey.
We again met Mr Pentermann at breakfast the next morning, and again extremely pleasant staff. The pool area looked extremely inviting and was very clean. Our pre arranged transport to Pattaya was late and the young lady at reception was quick to get the telephone number from us so she could call on our behalf. Turned out our driver was caught in traffic. (welcome to Bangkok).
We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel & Mr Pentermann please pass on to you staff that they are simply the best.

For the price this hotel is EXCELLENT!!!
The best of this Hotel, is the location on the River Chao Phraya and the rooms has the views of the river.
We were very warmly attended by Front Desk manager Ms Diane very kind and polite and helped us a lot.
Our room was refurbished, style Thai, was very comfortable and clean: Miss Sompong spoke English very well and always clean the room with a beautiful smile 10 Points!!
The swimming pool, the exercise room and the Sauna, 10 Points.
Have FREE Transportation by boat to the Metro Station
The General Manager Mr. Willem T. P. Pentermann was always very friendly and gentleman and made our stay in the hotel (one week) very Happy.
For all of this we recommended the Ramada PLaza a lot!!

I've had bad experiences at hotels in the past and wasn't expecting much at all, but When I arrived at the Ramada I was immediately great with open arms. The front desk staff was exceptionally polite and kind, they went above and behind to get us a room available. We got into our room and just wow, it was on the 15th floor with the most beautiful views of the river, and the city; such an amazing thing to wake up to in the morning.
When we arrive it was early in the morning, so we were not able to get to breakfast but the staff was kind enough to keep the buffet open for us so that we could eat. The best part about this trip was when we met Dear, the restaurant manager. Dear should be in charge of the hotel, she went above and beyond her duties to make sure our stay was the best it could be. She was kind and patient when my friend could not make up his mind what he would like for dinner. She made sure each meal was delivered on time. The food is delicious to where you could stay in the hotel and eat all day and be satisfied. Dear truly cares about her guests and will do pretty much anything to make sure there needs are met. Each day she asked us how we were doing and made sure our stay here was being satisfied. She is truly a kind and sincere person, that I'm glad I got to meet.
My only complaint is that I wish I could have stayed longer. Anyone who books here will not want to leave the views are amazing, the staff is friendly and go out of there way to make sure there guests are happy.

Two of my closest friends and I stayed here for 3 nights after spending time around the islands of Thailand. We were drained and ready to go home, but this last stop before we headed back to the states was one of the highlights of our trip.
All of the staff were awesome, super helpful and on top of any problem or any request. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the river and could see the city skyline very well.
The hotel offered a free taxi boat ride to the nearest sky strain station which came in handy to make it to places in the city without having to pay a taxi, plus is made us learn how to use the system and discover a side of the city we probably wouldn't have learned about.
One of the best parts about staying at this hotel was a woman named Dear. She was the NICEST employee. She spoke English and we were able to ask her about many things to do in and around the city. She was super helpful and always ready to teach us anything.
If I am ever in Bangkok again I will for sure go back to this hotel.
