I stayed two nights in November. I liked the room, it was clean and bed was comfortable. Close to everything, On site resturants, and entertainment. Close to shopping. I had stayed for Elton John concert. only about 5 miles from hotel, easy to get to.

We stayed here for 3 days and we were quite pleased! It's obviously an older hotel but everything was nice. When we first checked in, the heat and the TV didn't work. I was a little concerned because I had heard when we checked in that the hotel was full but they quickly got into another room on the same floor (our daughter was in another room which had no problems). There are 2 restaurants and plenty of vending machines so we didn't have to get out in the cold to get dinner or a snack. They have a big heated indoor pool with 2 hot tubs. They are pet friendly and have a big grassy area for walking your dog. It was easy to get to from the interstate and convenient to get to area attractions. They even have a shuttle to take you to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Ramada Plaza Portland for two nights in October 2017.
The Ramada Plaza is located on the I95 and is approximately 6 miles away from Downtown, Portland. There is free on-site parking to the front and side of the hotel.
Check in was quick and efficient by the friendly hotel staff.
I booked a standard room (on the 1st floor) which consisted of a comfy king size bed, 32” flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, ironing board and iron plus an arm chair with foot stool.
The bathroom comprised of a bath with overhead shower (the shower pressure was excellent and piping hot water throughout the duration of the shower), clean fresh towels, hairdryer, complimentary MATRIX total results toiletries, a sink and toilet.
The room also had a private balcony and blackout curtains which did not let any light in (which is a nice bonus). Although my room overlooked the highway I didn’t hear any noise during the night. However, there was construction work outside the front of the hotel on both mornings from 7am which was a bit annoying and woke me up both mornings (why 7am?).
The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and separate hot tub, I used them all and thought to be honest the water in all three looked a bit murky and could have done with a clean. There are also lockers in the swimming pool area for clothes costing 25c per locker.
There is also a fully equipped gym which you pass on the way to the swimming pool but didn’t use it myself so cannot comment any further.
The hotel has an on-site restaurant called Seasons Grille & Bar (see my other reviews). The food was good and reasonably priced. The bar is busy with live entertainment and karaoke on certain nights. Drinks are expensive but typical of hotel prices.
If you don’t fancy paying for breakfast at the hotel there is always the “Egg & I” which is situated next door to the hotel (see my other review). The food there is excellent.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel which is reasonably fast and has a decent signal in the room.
There is also a small lounge area with a Flat screen TV, vending machines and an open fire by the reception area if you wish to chill out.
Overall the Ramada Plaza Portland is very clean, the staff and service was very good, I had a good night’s sleep (apart from the workmen) and the room was large and comfortable for the price I paid. If you don’t have transport however it may be a bit out the way for visiting Downtown Portland and the neighbouring areas.

great place to stay, rooms great, shopping near by, food of all kinds, pool hot-tub live entertainment, we come back every year. staff always there for you, have stayed other places but nothing beats this location.

We Couldn't check in till 3:30, that was the only inconvenience. The staff was Professional, clean, and courteous.
The egg and I out front had some great food with a little wait due to popularity.
The hotel door behind the egg and I's dumpster didn't work for re-entry which was frustrating in the cold.
