Cocoa beach is very nice place to visit
Am going there every Saturday and play football and swim. A lot of people are coming there and play and enjoy you can even celebrate your birthday Cocoa beach is cool place. Thank you for coming

This hotel is a disgrace to the brand and the hospitality business in general. The air-conditioning doesn't work (29c and 95% humidity). The WiFi doesn't work. The refrigerator doesn't work. The door doesn't lock. The satellite TV bill had not been paid, so no satellite channels were available. It took 2 hours to find me a room where the air-conditioning worked and the door locked. But still no TV, WiFi or refrigerator. Use this hotel at your peril.

We stayed here for a couple of days while my be was in Accra for business,the place was abit clean but service was very slow also from the restaurant. got ripped off as the place was a bit pricey I hope you try to accommodate at a fair price for the kind of service provided

We stayed here for three nights. Despite clearly being a bit old, needing some investment and seemingly quite empty it had its good points. The rooms were comfortable and the swimming pool was nice. The resort is right by the beach and there are tables along the edge of the resort by the sea so you can sit quietly in the evening enojying the sounds of the waves. The beach itself though is disappointing: nice to see but has so much rubbish on it that it is not good for children to play in, despite many local children doing so. As other reviewers have said, the pizzas are the best part of the food menu.
The staff were friendly, but only having one shuttle car meant we waited over an hour to be picked up at the airport. It was good place to get into Accra, we were able to get a car and driver to take us round the city.
Overall if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, to enjoy being by the sea with a good swimming pool then consider this. If you want somewhere where children can play in the sea, with a bit more life then count this one out.

1. Even after being promised by Michael through an email that what I paid included airport pick up and drop off, I was not picked up when I arrived in Accra airport on December 10th neither was I dropped back on the day of departure.
2. There was no electricity on the first night. I think there was a generator on. However, according to the hotel technician working that night, its voltage was so low to even power the TV. Interestingly, the telephone seemed to have been put on "busy" mode probably to avoid calls or complaints from guests. If I needed anything, I had to walk to reception.
3. No running water on December 11th day and night! No shower, no water in the toilet. Same as the second issue above, the telephone was not going through and I had to walk to reception every time I used the toilet so that I could be could be given some water in a bucket to "flash" the toilet.
4. Mosquitoes could not let me sleep and had to request for an insecticide. I understand that Accra is a mosquito prone area. It should be upon the management therefore, to have this in mind and make sure that occupied rooms are spread every evening before guests retreat to bed.
5. I had booked a beach front room but it was not given to me because they said the air condition in the room I had requested was not working!
NB: I would like to thank Razak for taking care of me when I needed it the most especially on the night that there was no water. Razak showed concern and empathy and often went above and beyond to make sure that I had a listening ear.
