KwameMokopaneon 20/11/2017 19:10As the name says this hotel is situated off the Main Street in Randburg RSA. On the premise there are two hotels thus Main and Square whilst the Main is the luxury one. But currently everyone is being housed in the Square whilst The Main is undergoing renovations. The rooms are moderate with both tub and shower facilities. The TV is medium size with functional air-conditioner system. The restaurant is small hence the limited breakfast variety. The lack of a portering services is an area of concern since the room directional signage leaves much to be desired. With luggage getting to the room can prove to be a mission since after alighting the lift steps are to be negotiated.
Uncomfy Sleep??
304ernestgon 10/10/2017 19:40Guests deserve comfortable bed sets (not sagging) and better conditioned linen (not almost torn). It is not good enough to treat guests with a nice breakfast and good cleaning services. This makes me feel catering and cleaning services are subcontracted to competent companies by an incompetent hotel.

n0mbulel0son 27/09/2017 15:36I found it very difficult to sleep on both nights that we were there. The beds are so uncomfortable, it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The lights can't be adjusted and are too bring if you want to fall asleep while they are on. The TV channels are too limited and moreover, the selection is boring & draining.
If more or different ones can be added it'd be better. I also noticed that there is no hot water in the shower in the evenings, so we couldn't shower at night however in the morning the water was hot. I felt like someone had plugged off the geyser or something. Such an inconvenience.
Overall, the stay was good but you can always improve a thing or two hence I have rated my stay a 3/4. The breakfast was awesome, compliments to the chef & staff. The cleanliness is also on point, compliments to that as well. Parking is not so good since there is no covered spaces so in case of a heavy rain, hail or storm our vehicles are compromised.

Mak_Sydon 18/09/2017 17:38Woke up in the morning and there wasn't any water. Checked with reception and I was told that they are having too many guests and have to go to another building for shower!!
Room was spacious but the bed sheet and pillow covers were very very and very old and wasn't very clean.
Breakfast was very basic.
Staff were friendly.
Overall this hotel is a big no for me and won't recommend.

Jacques Pon 10/09/2017 20:09Upon our arrival after waiting 15 minutes for assistance we were told that we should go to another reception area. Got there again waited again, our booking could not be found. After several phone calls we were told to go back to first reception area. Got there after 20 minutes we were told the room was never booked from Hotel side. Well after some time we were told we will be put in a room that was cancelled. So headed to our room., just to find out we were put in a room in area which a whole conference were being held. At half past two taht morning we couldnt sleep as the rooms were so noisy next to hs and above as a result of the conferrence. I phoned reception and complained but to no prevail. After 30 more minutes went down to reception asked if it was common for geusts not to have peace and quit to at least sleep. The answer was there is a conferrence and people are up and down and nothing could be done.The next night we got back from our buisness meetings went to eat, wow what a nightmare. We wanted to try the buffet, but were told no that is just for the conference group and not for regular geusts. Whe the ordered steak. But after sending back our steak twice we decided to go to room and try to rest as our flight was early the next morning. Well it sounded like the conferrence was in room next door. Phoned reception again, and maybe by now they did something about it. So needless to say we got no sleep. We were told breakfast starts from 6:30 in mornings. Our taxi was scheduled for 6:45, so we decided to go have quick coffe and bite to eat, just to get there and were topd no seven sharp. We asked the person if we couldnt just get something quick to eat seeing as everything was packed out and ready. Well the answer was a definte NO. So walking back to room we saw that conferrence members were allowed in to go and eat seeing that they also needed to leave early. So why were they helped and not us? So after paying alot of money for rooms and breakfast we definetly did not get our moneys worth. I would definetly not recommend Sierra to anyone not even my enemy. Everybody is feeling the economic pinch at the moment, so after paying for service that we didnt receive i feel really grieved. So the response will be from hotel sorry for bad service we will work on it, as usual.
