I took trip down to New York for family funeral and Travelodge was quite and neat place for my stay. Security was great.

While I wouldn't say this place was terrible, it is not a good value for the price charged. It is well-maintained and fairly clean, and pretty quiet for a busy road. It is however, a budget hotel in all but price. The down-sides in my room-- fridge didn't work, water leaked in shower. If the price was at least 25% lower I would have felt better about my experience there and given it better rating.

Super clean with all the amenities. Close to everything in Bay Shore....Shops, restaurants, cafes, and supermarket. Great management!

We had NO HBO, even though this was advertised. In fact we had about 10 channels, total. The only redeeming feature of this motel is location. The staff were mostly Unhelpful. The place seemed to have a number of semi permanent residents, and the roof was being repaired on the main building, thus no satellite TV connections. We were able to view Dish TV tutorials, but those were on two of the 10 channels we got. In general, their "remodeled" rooms have tile floors in the bedroom and bathroom, but the cleanliness level of the property left a lot to be desired. I will recommend that travelers avoid this property. It is NOT up to Wyndham standards.

It was an older building, remodeled, also had older furniture. Nice hosts, room was clean but had odd odor, smelled musty or funky, maybe covered by chemical cleaner or deodorant. Affected our breathing a little. Breakfast was skimpy, coffee terrible. Price reasonable by Long Island standards, but would not stay there again. (& TV service was terrible, hardly any channels, none at first but they gave us a different remote that worked.) We wondered if there had been pets or smoking in this room previously, or if insecticide accounted for the underlying odor, which was biggest drawback.. .
