At the moment we are still on our trip and will be checking out from this property tomorrow. First of all when we checked-in, the property seems no less than a 5 star hotel. Precisely talking about the the lobby, floor lobby and our room (Room No. 220). We had one more room (Room No. 211) which was less impressive and weirdly designed. We expected both the rooms to have some kind of uniformity but compare both and you will get a feeling that they belong to 2 different properties. But as it’s rightly said that ‘looks could be deceptive’. In this case the above statement completely qualifies.
Firstly the service on a scale of 0-10 is 0. The staff doesn’t seem to be well trained. Here we are talking about the restaurant staff and housekeeping staff. They took 1/2 an hour to serve us our food (Aloo Gobi 1 portion, Dal 1 portion and Rotis). The meal was for 5 pax. We would like to give a positive feedback here that the food was extremely delicious and the quantity size is mind blowing.
What has disappointed us the most is that we had an extra bed in our room and we were shocked to see the quality of mattresses used. Photos attached below for your reference. So basically they provide one single mattress as an extra bed which is preposterous!
The property seems to be a new one around and could have a great traveller rating but they would have to amend their ways and make changes in certain areas to make their guests satisfied.

This was our fifth time stay at regenta central Amritsar .whenever traveling to Amritsar we stay at regenta only. It has always been a great experience staying there

I had made a booking at Regenta via MMT however MMT had forgotten to given the hotel a confirmation but the hotel staff - Vishali (Sr.FOA) was very helpful. I had called her up requesting assistance for airport transfers during which I was advised of the MMT mess-up. But her proactiveness ensured that a room was kept on hold for me and she also arranged an airport transfer for me inspite of not having a booking confirmation from MMT. I was travelling with my mom who is a senior and the staff was extremely polite and prompt in helping us to sort this. Their manager, Manpreet Singh, also coordinated with MMT to sort the booking issue. Throughout the stay we were greeted by very courteous and polite personnel. The rooms are well maintained with all the promised amenities.
It is only a 10-15mins ride to the Golden Temple and literally on the Grand Trunk Road so transfers to the Airport and Wagah Border are also convenient.

The hotel is located at a distance of 45 mins from the airport and 10- 15 mins depending on traffic from the Golden Temple. special thanks to the front office staff and team for prompt and excellent service Rooms were perfect for the three of us, Breakfast spread had a wide variety. overall experience was great.

Perfect hotel. Excellent experience with my daughter. It a NEW MODERN hotel. The hotel is very comfortable with excellent staff.
Its near the Hyatt Amritsar. Little away from the center of the city, but the experience will be good.
