Good place for family dinner ....though good food ...but bit needs to work more on hospitality...as there is cut throat completion so they need to tie up their laces for it .....anyways a high five for them ..

I stayed in this hotel during May, 2016. There was some ongoing renovation work, which was their excuse for many sort of inconveniences to us, which we had to experience in the later part of our stay.
There were areas which clearly showed they are doing cost cutting. For example, the main reception area was so big, that they switched off the lights of the area which was bit at the inner side; no fresh flowers at lot of flower vases; ill-maintained and out of order swimming pool and gym.
The floor next to our room's was undergoing some renovation and there was a continuous disturbing sound of hammering and other labor work.
I would suggest people who plan to stay in this hotel, please don't go by its name. Checkout the room and rest of the hotel first and then decide.
On the other hand, we had some good experiences like friendly and hospitable staff and above average food, which we didn't expect after all such condition.

We stayed here for just a night but the hospitality and the courteousness of the staff was really appreciable. The initial room given to us was kind of small but on request we were shifted to a very good room.
The room service was quick and even after dinner timings the kitchen staff accepted our orders and delivered the food quickly.
The breakfast was really good with lot of varieties (Looks like they took the feed backs, from few previously stayed customers, seriously on this one).
The only thing I would suggest them to improve is on the accommodations for the drivers who accompany the customers. There should at least room with single bed and sanitary arrangements for each person. My driver was asked to share the room of hotel staff which didn't comfort him. I hope this arrangement is not a big deal for a hotel like Ashoka.
Rest everything was really good. It was comfortable and cozy stay here at Ashoka. Recommended for everyone.

It's pathetic hotel with pathetic service. high unprofessional and untrained staff. they don;t care. Renovation was going on and they kept me in a room nearby. lot of noise and dust. while check out they didn't give me bills with all supporting of room service and laundry. called 37 times to reception even their seniors but they did not send me a mail.
Be aware guys before you go here. no recommended bcz staff & management behaviors. they didn't even reply your mail.

Stayed only for one night on my way back from manali. Service was good and fast. Staff courteous and responsive. Overall good comfortable stay at the hotel. Great worth for the money spent. Very near to airport , around 20 mins drive. Good for transit stay.
