We have stayed here 3 times over the last couple of years and been delighted on every occasion.
The hotel has its own underground parking area, if you have ever been to Cagliari you will understand how much of a bonus this is and makes the rate even more of a bargain.
The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance of just about every restaurant worth visiting in the city from Michelin starred to trattorias serving excellent Sardinian cuisine, We would have a drink in the excellent American bar on site and then go out and decide where to eat, usually returning to a hotel for a nightcap.
The concierge was superb for organising taxis and for advice on shopping etc, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, in all a superb place to use as your base when visiting Cagliari.

First visit in Cagliari, the hotel is perfectly situated for excellent access to everything. Rooms were clean and very pleasant, breakfast was a bonus’s. Even though you’re close to busy areas, noise was never an issue and we slept with our windows opened. I would recommend and stay there for our next visit.

We had a group of 12 people doing a bicycle tour. This was a good location for being picked up for our tour the next day. Hotel was nice and the restaurant food was very good. It was close to the harbor for a nice walk around the area.

We stayed a couple of weeks ago for two nights. Our suite was not only affordable but incredibly spacious (2 full bathrooms) well decorated and very clean. Customer service seems a priority and we greatly appreciated it. This hotel kindly accepted and held our suitcase for over a week after we sent it ahead from the U.S. They also helped us regain our camera which we accidentally left in the middle of Sardinia at an agriturismo we stopped at for lunch. A member of the front desk was kind enough to call the agriturismo (where they spoke no English) to arrange a scheme by which we could get our camera back by simply meeting the bus driver who drove the route between the two areas! That is the kind of customer service you rarely see nowadays and it was much appreciated. So, if you're looking for an elegant hotel in a great location (easy walking to all of the tourist sites and restaurants) with parking ( a rarity as well) and an outstanding staff, this is the hotel you should choose. This is also one of the few hotels in Italy in which we' ve found an "ironing room" which was a nice touch. It seems, in Italy, irons are not allowed in hotel rooms so you either have to bring a travel iron of your own (bulky to pack and mediocre in performance), pay the hotel to iron your clothes (often at outrageous prices) or settle for wearing wrinkled outfits. Our clothes didn't fare well in the long drive down to Cagliari from northern Sardinia so being able to touch up a few outfits before wearing them was much appreciated.

My wife and I spent four nights at the RM hotel in September. The desk staff were welcoming and very helpful, the room large and clean, the breakfast fine (if you can find the room it is served in which we failed to do on the first morning). The hotel is ideally located for seeing the sights and shops. We would particularly recommend a bus trip from the bottom of the road to Poetto Beach - a Euro or two to a very long excellent beach ideal for children (purchase a return bus ticket from the local tabac).
