We stayed here for 4 nights as the first stop on a tour and couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. All the public areas were stunning as were the views of the lake from our bedroom. The waiters all wore white dinner jackets even at breakfast. Breakfast buffet was amazing, so many choices, hot coffee and a large teapot for tea drinkers. The outdoor pool was larger than it looked in photos and the even had an indoor pool as well. All in all we loved it and would stay there again. It was the perfect spot to do trips from and just behind was the charming little town of Stresa with cobble stone laneways full of shops and restaurants. What more could one want.

We stayed for 7 nights with a tour group and it was perfect the staff were very helpful the Meals and Dining rooms were wonderful. We chose to have a balcony room with views over the lake and with a cold glass of rose wine the world was great. They have two swimming pools one indoor and one in the lower ground floor with Gym and spa rooms.
The hotel is really beautiful and perfect in everyway.
The head waiter Maro was really a star and very helpful and helped us to enjoy every meal.

We have just had our 4th. visit to the Regina Palace & it seems to get better each time. We enjoy views of the lake, from, this time, a beautiful balcony on the first floor, the staff are very friendly, & the local attractions, although busy this year as we were there during a bank holiday still hold attractions for us. We hope to return next year, as it is the most beautiful place to relax

The hotel is beautiful. It is located across the street from Lake Maggiore. The lobby is amazing large and well appointed. The room we were in was fantastic with a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was large and filled with quality furniture. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of choices.

We have visited Stresa many times; last time it was in October- this is a reason why we were able to book a room (usually hotel is fully booked in the Summer). Hotel is classic and elegant with comfortable rooms and nice furniture. View on the lake from the small balcony is amazing in rainy or sunny days. Two pools provide a good option to relax after long "touristic trips". We came with car -it was nice to get a free place in hotel's parking.
Breakfast was good up to European standards. Stuff is friendly and efficient; we got any required help.
Hotel is stayed within 5 min walking distance from main restaurants area so we got a dinners out of hotel while many touristic groups looked as enjoyed their dinners in the dining room with view on the lake.Gardens outside of hotel are very impressive and provide nice touch to the hotel classical elegance. We can recommend this hotel without hesitation.
