Overall a good stay but too many minor niggles that were annoying us.
Stayed for a week as part of an Inghams tour group.
Arrived very late but cold food was provided . No sign of the Inghams rep as promised but hotel welcomed us.
Room very dated and dull. Bathroom needed a complete refit..Window in bathroom did not shut and we had lots of street noise into the night.
There were no drawers provided at all. No safe so had to trail down to reception to use one.
The garden was very attractive with pool and lemon trees but alive with mosquitoes so you could not eat outside.
Very noisy traffic in front of hotel as it is the main coast road. Noise at side too as a local road and cafes under the hotel.
Hotel has a small beach plus facilities available.
Food good and the staff were really friendly and helpful .Reception a bit off hand and brusque.
Lots of steps inside the hotel
Room was large with a sea view but had a diddly balcony. if you left the window open the mosquitoes invaded.Take a plug in insect killer.
Maoiri is a delight- an old working town with small shops and with very cheap prices . Not much English spoken.
Fantastic public garden of an enormous old palace ( now owned by the local council and police)with underwater tunnels in the many pools Very pretty garden. Even a grotto there! A small church built in the rock was amazing
Close to Amalfi and it is a beautiful area to explore but popular so crowded.Caprii full to bursting even in October.
Very fine hotel

Nice and very clean room with balcony facing the sea. Nice bathroom. Great beds. No safety box in the room. Our room was on the 1st floor which unfortunately meant a lot of noise from the street during the night. Breakfast was ok (with a lot of cakes)! You cannot park your car by the hotel - valet parking at 19 euros per day. Wifi in the rooms, but rather slow.
Great restaurants in the area - "Dedalo" just around the corner, and "Torre Normanna" if you want something special.
Pleasantly positioned hotel fab breakfast lovely garden & pool staff excerlwnt

Loved our stay here at the Regina Palace this hotel has an old fashioned charm the bar staff bring the best snacks and are lovely & friendly. The beach is over the road there's a mini mart close and the pool is lovely nicely situated the only down part is that some rooms are small but we did book a small double, so it was expected. I'd stay here again and get a standard double next time! But staff are wonderful thank you Regina Palace until next time
Happy holiday in amalfi

From the moment we arrived which was late friday night we were greeted with a warm welcome. Check in was instant and they told us that they had left us supper in the dining room which we were pleased with.
We had paid extra for a superior room on the front, we were not disappointed as the room was very large with a good sized balcony overlooking the beach and the stunning mountains, the sun was on the balcony afternoon so great for a spot of sun bathing. lots of wardrobe space and drawers, mini fridge. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi bath but did not work, the shower above the bath was a bit awkward but we managed. Plenty of free toiletries etc. Room service was excellent and had a turn down service every night with chocolates, saw maid a few times and she asked if everything was alright with our room.
Breakfast was plenty of choice, especially the good selection of cakes and delicious Italian pastries. We sat outside in the pretty garden and the waiters were quick and efficient and friendly, nothing was any trouble.
We were on an Inghams amalfi coast tour which was excellent, we had trips out daily by mini bus and were well looked after by our tour guide Theo.
Evening meal was a set menu with 3 starters, 3 main meals to choose from, and a dessert of their choice, It was nice to try a different Italian dish every night, obviously pasta of all kinds was served, wine was good and reasonable price.
They have a great bar with fabulous cocktails at only 5 Euro and plenty of free snacks/nibbled, I especially loved the giant olives!
Maiori is a pretty town with plenty of shops and restaurants, they were still building the beach bars when we were there as it was the beginning of the season, there is a harbour which offers boat trips to positano, amalfi and capri and also boat hire. I absolutely loved this holiday and if we return we will definitely stay at Reginna palace again.
Reginna Palace Hotel Stay

The Reginna Palace Hotel was perfect. It is located in downtown Maiori, across the street from the beach. This hotel was an excellent value and its staff was superb, particularly the front desk manager, Ena. She made our stay easy and immensely enjoyable, and we will definitely be back because of her.
