Wonderful stay!!

Beautiful place! The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Every morning I looked forward to the delicious breakfast and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place to everybody who's looking for a not too busy, relaxed and beautiful place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights and we loved it! It was quiet and peaceful. The drive to the beaches along the east coast wasn't too far away and there were several options to dine around the vicinity (Eg. San Teodoro).

The room was spacious, neat and clean and there was wifi too! The owners were helpful and warm. They even recommended some restaurants to check out and helped us with the bookings given that we couldn't speak any Italian. Definitely worth checking out.

Cons_ you need a car to get about. Especially restaurants in the evening, but it is only a 5 minute drive to get to enough good places to eat.
_ the evening menu is quite small
_ the shower is lovely and powerful but a little small, so scrubbing sand from all the hidden areas becomes a challange.

Pros- personal service excellent. They really will do/help in any way they can
- rooms large, comfy, clean
- only a few rooms so hotel always feels like a private villa
- lovely, spacious, well kept pool area with plenty of room and beds
- several covered areas you could sit and relax
- good home cooked food. ONLY the 'specials' have to be pre-ordered at breakfast. There is a small menu of home cooked items available without notice
- breakfast has an interesting selection and eggs cooked to order. Not the usual hot buffet but more than enough to satisfy

They are a lovely family, running a good hotel, well done.

Good for a short stay

This small hotel is situated beside the road in Porto Taverna. It is too far to walk into Porto San Paolo from the hotel so you would need a car or a taxi for shops and restaurants. You can, however, walk to Porto Taverna beach from the hotel. The staff were helpful and obliging. Breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice including fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly baked pastries, cold meats and cheeses. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, though I feel sure the food would be very good, because you had to place your order at breakfast. Also the hedges outside the breakfast/dining area needed cutting at the time of our visit. They were half way up the windows so you couldn't see outside, therefore no view at all.
The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean, however, you can hear when toilets are flushed in other rooms. You can leave your luggage in a secure area after checking out, and there is a shower room to freshen up before your onward journey.

we had a lovely time here. The hotel was exceptionally clean and proffesionally run. The pool was great and it was a good location for exploration and beaches.The service and the breakfast were great and they went far above and beyond to help make our holiday a success. small critiscism were that possibly curtains could be thicker or lights around pool muted.
