Nice but hard to find
wemac6on 13/10/2017 15:35We drove around for hours trying to find this place. No one seemed to know where it was and it didn't come up on our GPS. We finally found it and the lady told us that we should have been there sooner as she was trying to leave and we were her last check in. She was not that friendly and made us feel like we were putting her out. The stay was antiquate but not a recommended staying place. Way out in the country with nothing around. About 30 minutes from the city of Cortona.

I stayed at the main building, which was lovely restored and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The entrance into the property is lined with beautiful cypress trees, like a postcard perfect Tuscany picture. There is a dinning room and also a great pool that overlooks the valley under. They also host parties and weddings, so you may run into unexpected events. The dinning room also doubles as breakfast room with nice buffet breakfast and also serves tasty dinner for very reasonable price.

Melissa Don 22/11/2016 07:26Couldn't of wished for nicer surroundings, approach to the villa is stunning along with the view from the restaurant and rooms. Though we did not have dinner here breakfast was good even though the bread was a little hard. Lots to do in the area and it only took an hour to drive to Florence. Would recommend for a long weekend.

One of the most beautiful, elegant, luxurious place , which i ever visit and i travel a lot!
I almost surprise , that that place is open to tourist with so many high quality antiques .We stayed in main villa. Very nice room , with full bath and very nice views. Gorgeous park surrounds villa. Very comfortable breakfast place ( excellent) with panoramic view of lower Tuscany. The most of the additional information you will find in previous reviews. A few addition. While driving to destination, past sign marking "end of Farneta". Entrance to park is about 100m further on a right ( east) side of a road. You will see a gorgeous alley with cypresses on both side . One could feels himself , as almost royalty ! Be careful however , alley is definitely passible, but somewhat bumpy. Plenty of space to park. Expext wonderful time , while staying in this villa
Paradise In Tuscany
JimB1966on 16/09/2016 16:35I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Relais Villa Petrischio in Cordona, Italy with my wife and another couple. What a wonderful place with it's beautiful view of the bucolic Tuscan countryside. The owner Diletta, took the time to make us all feel welcome and part of the family. Our rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. We stayed in a villa about 150-meters from Reception while our friends stayed in the main building. Their room was equally as nice. The pool is outstanding as is the restaurant and bar which is located next to the pool for convenience The hotel is located near the city of Cortona so it was an easy 25-min drive into town. I would highly recommend putting this little gem of a place on your itinerary should you be staying in Tuscany. Thank you Diletta for the experience and hopefully, we'll be returning for another stay.
