Stayed at The Renaissance for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Nanina's. Everything about the hotel was outstanding including Peter, who was at the reception. Told him we were part of the wedding group, but had booked separately as Rewards members. He explained the computers were down, and he was trying to sort thru what rooms were available. After a bit, he was able to give us a room. It is not a pretty picture, when you rely on computers and then they are not available. He stayed calm and professional. Our room was very spacious, clean, with comfortable beds and delux sheeting and plush pillows. Bathroom equally big, with all amenities and extra large towels. Lobby and bar area warm and welcoming. All areas of the hotel, lobby, halls and rooms were all very clean. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. So comfortable wished we were staying longer. Thanks Peter.

We spend two nights in this very good hotel
The room was very clean and the people in hotel was very polite
The breakfast is classical American breakfast
They have a space for parking that is very important in New York and is not far away from the New Jersey airport is very near but you don’t have free shuttle
Is good to stay there

The building may be unattractive on the outside and sandwiched between two ugly highways, but the inside of the hotel is very nicely renovated, chic, modern and inviting. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking is free and the location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Service was friendly and accommodating.
My only complaint was the quality of the breakfast was not that great for $19.00/person. It seemed like everything was out of a box or can. Eggs did not look or taste real, the bacon was super greasy, and french toast was unappealing). If you get the buffet, I would get your eggs made to order.

Johnny Z was fabulous in helping us get a room for the night and since we didn't have our luggage making sure what had necessity items to get us through till the next day. After having a long day, he helped end the day better. The room was very nice, overall hotel was great. An easy Uber from the Newark Airport.

Beautiful Hotel with impeccable style, very clean and comfortable. Great staff at reception, easy free parking and convenient location. Advertising a little misleading when they say free wifi. They mean only in the lobby which is a problem when you rely on this for business. A complimentary water bottle would also be a nice touch and they need a little more help for breakfast. However, the restaurant has incredible food and the bartender was excellent. Would choose this place again in a heart beat.
