Was very happy with our overnight stay this past week. Meggan at the front desk was warm and welcoming and got us checked in quickly. Housekeeping was thorough - our 2 bedroom 2 bath with living room and full kitchen was spotless. Free, full breakfast was a very welcome addition to our stay - there is a pool, fitness center and small volleyball/basketball court and laundry room - so lots of great amenities for an extended stay of longer than one night! Just about four or five miles from historical downtown Annapolis but traffic wasn't too bad on a Friday evening.
Would recommend and would stay here in future if travel takes us back to Annapolis.

Traveled to Annapolis for a football game with family. The two bedroom suite worked out great for us. We could all be in the same room, but still have privacy when needed. It was just a short drive/Uber to downtown, football stadium, and the Naval Academy. The breakfast provided was well done with different variations each day.

We Arrived late in the evening, as we were walking inside our room we could smell cigarette smoke. Since it's a non-smoking hotel, we believed it to be a neighbor who stepped outside to smoke. Once inside, we changed into our PJs and began to smell cigarette smoke coming through the AC vents of our hotel room. It seems like the people upstairs were smoking. Our room shortly begin to smell like a dirty ashtray. We Called the front desk and they gave us keys to a new room. After picking up all our stuff and moving to the second location, we were sorely disappointed AGAIN because this is also a pet friendly hotel and this room smelled like the ammonia of pet urine. So we packed up our car AGAIN and went back to the front desk. We were giving a third room. This one still had the smell of pet. (and we like animals. We have our own dogs at home!) There were no other 2 bedrooms available and my children were exhausted. I immediately called the front desk to tell them this room was also unacceptable, but because of the late hour, we would be staying the night and wanted to cancel the rest of our reservation. The front desk really didn't seem to care either way. No apologizes made.
At breakfast the next morning I came downstairs close to the end of breakfast (9:20) and the coffee had run out. I asked if we could get more coffee, and I was told "no, service was over". Even the water jug was empty.
We spent a lot of money for the room. It was a waste!
We went down the street to a sister hotel- (still under Marriott name) no smoke, no smell and coffee available 24 hours!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESIDENCE INN!

Stayed here may and June a few times as we were looking around for a place to live.
Although not as nice looking as the new inns it's was still nice.
I liked our rooms.One time we got one with a fireplace.That was nice! Breakfast was ok.
Staff was great.Would stay here again.

There were no surprises at this hotel. Which is a good thing. One does not expect surprises at this rate level. The rooms were quite clean and well appointed and would be great for an extended stay of days or weeks. The breakfast was modest and parking near your room is hit and miss due to the layout of the parking lot. The room actually had a wood burning fireplace, But I doubt they would want one to use it. It is a nice place but not exactly memorable as the surrounding neighborhood is studded with similar facilities.
