We have previously stayed in other hotels on the White Marsh estate but chose the residence inn as it offered apartment style accommodation with two separate ensuite bedrooms and a shared lounge, kitchen/diner areas. All well laid out and gave us plenty of space.
But as with the previous reviews, the carpets were stained and tired and the furniture a bit battered. Same for the corridors being a bit battered by the cleaning trolleys. Outside and all the public areas look fine and were well maintained.
We did change rooms after the first night as the one we were given looked out over a set of air conditioning units, and extractor which possibly is for the kitchen. So was a bit too noisy for us.
Yes we would go back, location was ideal, mattress was conformable, WiFi worked and our bathroom was clean, but it just need much needed tlc on the rooms. So view your room first.

I choose this Residence Inn because you of its location to some decent shopping and ease to get to a friends house. I stayed here with a few friends for our girls trip and will not be back. The two-bedroom suite was very tired looking and had stains in e dry aspect of the carpet. The furniture we also stained and was extremely uncomfortable.
I have stayed at many Residence Inns before and this one takes the cake.
We were greeted by a staff member who barely got off her phone to take care of us.
We chose to eat out in th local area which had a number of great options to choose from.
It is easy to find and is easy on and off for 95, which makes it a pretty good location.

Stayed here two different weeks. I usually like residence inn because of the extra space, but this one needs real help on the maintenance. One time they put me in a first floor room with a window A/C. Could not close the curtains if the A/C was on. The bathroom towels were on the floor when I arrived and one for bathroom shelves was falling off the wall.
Staff was nice enough, but the owners need to invest in fixing the place up

We booked a 2 bedroom suite because we needed a convenient place to stay while our mother was critically ill in hospital. We had stayed here the previous year and had been fairly satisfied with the room and hotel amenities. Not this time. The room we were offered had a carpet with a number of dark stains, a stained sofa, and the door of the refrigerator looked as if someone had stabbed at it with a sharp instrument. We were moved to another room that was in about the same shabby state, except there were fewer punctures in the fridge door. They offered to have the carpet cleaned but there was no evidence of that.
We found a dead roach on the living area floor and a dead spider and suspicious looking curly hair on my bathroom floor. We complained again, and when we returned to the room later the roach was gone but the spider and hairs still in the bathroom. Furthermore, it appeared the the contents of the trash can in my sisters bathroom had been emptied into the toilet. It was blocked and housekeeping had to use a plunger on it.
On the plus side, my sister had $50 knocked off the bill. The communal areas, including the gym and outdoor seating areas, were clean. Breakfast was pretty good, the happy hour ok, and staff were friendly. In all, we were deeply disappointed with our experience at this hotel. We didn't need the hassle, especially under our circumstances. Marriott management need to have a good look at and refurbish this establishment. Housekeeping need training or replacing with competent staff. It certainly does not live up to the Mariott brand and we will not return.

These types of hotels i usually forget or mix up pretty quickly, you have seen a few and they all seem to be the same, but this was actually a bit extra ordinary. They had some evening activities with free drinks and snacks which was nice.
Otherwise it was clean, plenty of space and close to restaurants and shopping in the surrounding area.
