I almost didn't write this review in order to keep more people from knowing what a great place this is to stay! Rooms were great, it felt like I was staying at a friend's house, indoor courtyard so cute. Every staff member I came into contact with - front desk and breakfast - was super nice. Great location. I went on morning walks before work over the bridge and into the greenway. Then could walk to work in the seaport area.

Granted I haven't stayed at a Residence Inn in over a decade, but this is not like any I've ever stayed at. The hotel has a great urban vibe as they kept many of the previous features (brick, beams, even old industrial doors). They combined this with beautiful contemporary modern design throughout. I was also impressed with an above average breakfast area, fun, friendly staff and the lobby is connected to a very cool coffeehouse. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come back to Boston.

My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn Boston Downtown/Seaport on October 28 - 29, 2017 while visiting Boston. I am a Marriott Gold Rewards member, so we always stay at a Marriott. In addition, I was using my Marriott Rewards' points for this stay. We arrived in Boston by train, and this hotel was an easy 15 minute walk from South Station. I did mobile checkin, and our room was available when we arrived shortly before noon. We were promptly given our room key, and we were assigned Room 421. This hotel is a converted old factory, and the decor is superb. The lobby area is good size and super clean. Our room was a studio, and it was at the rear of the hotel, so the view was not splendid. However, the advantage of such a room is that it is not subject to any street noise. My wife and I were impressed with our room. Like the lobby area, it was super clean and large. Furthermore, there were plenty of electric outlets for those wanting to charge computers and cell phones. The bed was very comfortable, so my wife and I had no problems sleeping that night. I did mobile check out prior to leaving. In terms of decor and cleanliness, this is the best Marriott my wife and I have ever stayed at. Therefore, we strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boston.

This was a great location to tour Boston. Near the T, airport and great restaurants. Hotel was outstanding!!. Staff was excellent!! Helpful and professional. Breakfast was also outstanding. Everything you would want. I would highly recommend this hotel. Room was terrific!! Could not have asked for a visit more perfect.

Spent four nights here on our very first trip to Boston. Helpful staff who are all very friendly, excellent accommodation that was clean and very comfortable. Complementary breakfast was something we weren’t bothered about and had originally planned to go out for breakfast. However, it was so nice (hot and cold food) that we had breakfast here every day! When checking out and trying to complete online check in with our airline, a very helpful lady helped me print off boarding passes completely free of charge. Hotel is in a great location to base yourself for tourist sightseeing.
