I stayed here for business for three weeks and had a great experience!
I stayed in the studio. There is a full kitchen (fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave and all the necessary pots, pans and utensils). There is a couch that has a pull out bed. Huge desk space as well. The bed was super comfortable! The bathroom counter had lots of space and very good lighting. The closet was huge and definitely held lots of clothing. The shower pressure was awesome and the bathroom was great. I had no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

When traveling with my mother, who uses a walker, Residence Inn is her preferred choice for accessibility, the kitchenette, multiple beds for family members, the outstanding continental breakfast and accessibility.
The staff are helpful and thoughtful in accommodating her and my brother, which is sometimes challenging with her speech impediment, and his reading of social cues as he is a high functioning autistic adult.
We have been well taken care of in a two suite handicap room (though by my fourth night on the pull out sofa sleeper, I am stealing pillows from my mother and brother’s much much comfier beds).
Not all handicap rooms are identical, and my mother did note this one does not have wall or floor mounted bars for stability next to the toilet, which some rooms have and she prefers. Staff worked to bring us a portable toilet booster with bars, but mom felt embarrassed to use it and declined. Rooms with the stability bars and two suites were in use, otherwise the attentive staff would have moved us at check in.
My mother has managed fine and we are happy with our stay, but thought it might be relevant for some disabled guests to double check if those stability bars are a necessity for them. I know everyone is different.
We will certainly be back as this is the most convenient hotel for mom’s needs and visiting her parents in assisted living in Chagrin Falls.

This hotel is perfectly adequate, like most Marriotts. Really, knowing what you will get is one of the real draws of Marriott. Laundry room, exercise room, pool, and breakfast. However what sets it apart is the really great staff! Great, polite cleaning crew and front desk. This is our go-to hotel when in Cleveland.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile! Nothing as great as to feel welcome after traveling ! We were personally reminded of the amenities and welcomed to use them (nice touch!) The updates since the last time we stayed here give a clean and modern feel ! We booked the 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite and couldn't have been happier. Had a great kitchen; full appliances, common living room space but still had the privacy we needed in the bedrooms. Cleveland Clinic brought us here, about a 18 min ride, but love this hotel (great staff, breakfast; free parking). The area offers shopping (Lakeshore Learning for educational 'toys') and we are able to give part of this trip a vacation like feel. Needed maintenance to look at a sluggish flushing toilet; an easy fix but did it in a helpful, friendly way and came within 12 min. Definitely will return.

For me, what really makes a hotel nice, or any business for that reason, is the staff. JW will be happy to know that the staff at his hotel in Beachwood has an all around A-Team. We came from Hilton Head because we had to evacuate from Hurricane Irma. Instead of this being a stressful situation, Jazmyn, Front Desk Manager, calmed everything from the initial phone call. You can tell she has experience because her customer service was an A++. Dana, another front desk representative also helped with different needs. The girls in the kitchen at breakfast time were such a treat to speak with. It's nice to meet genuine caring people who enjoy what they do. Thank Marriott, thank Jazmyn, thank you to the rest of the Residence Inn staff in Beachwood. I highly recommend this hotel. Now if they could had only helped the Browns get a victory.
