Lots of things about this place to like. Good location, walking distance to the business district, lots of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and comfortable but not luxurious by any stretch. Bed was comfy. Lots of space. They have a hosted happy hour in the bar, free beer and wine and assorted appetizers. And they have a free breakfast in the AM. I would for sure stay here again.

Great location for BA stadium, clean, professional and friendly staff, room was very clean, great bathroom, free parking, good continental breakfast.
If you are going to a Panthers game be aware that S Mint St. is blocked off around the stadium heading east towards the hotel before and after the game.

Upon arrival, there is not any wiggle room to unload your vehicle. There is an un-manned pay parking garage located behind the building. You will need to get a ticket and get it validated at the front desk; otherwise you will have to pay daily. The front desk will initial the ticket to use to get back into the garage without paying. The front desk staff was very friendly and the appearance seemed clean and inviting. The room we chose was spacious and clean. The room was quite, however, there was not a Panther Game during our stay. The room was advertised as a 2 Bedroom Suite Bedroom 1: 1 Queen, Bedroom 2: 1 Queen, Sofa bed, Bathrooms: 2. One of the rooms actually had a King Bed. The room with the Queen Bed had a bathtub and the room with the King Bed had a stand up shower. Our view to the left was the Bank America Stadium and to the right was a minor league baseball field. The hotel is within walking distance to a 7-11 and about a block to many bars/restaurants. The bar was open @ 5:00 PM. The person at the bar serving drinks was very friendly. The breakfast area was just okay. The staff was not as friendly as the rest of the staff we encountered. They had turkey sausage, sausage, scrambled eggs and scrambled egg whites, yogurt, bagels, waffles, toast, pastries, hard boiled eggs, cantaloupe and kiwi as well as pineapple and bananas which were very ripe. The type of bananas you would use for banana bread. The floor was sticky in the breakfast area. Overall, clean lobby and clean rooms, I’ll definitely give this one a try next time I’m in the area but will probably skip the breakfast.

I chose this hotel first for the brand and second for the location. I’m loyal to the Marriott brand and have always had good experiences with them. Being right next to Bank of America stadium for a family of Panthers fans is ideal. The staff was amazing. They were welcoming and kind. When I checked in it was almost 2am but the young man working the front desk was awesome. He was friendly and informative. I stayed in a two bedroom suite with my family and it seemed a little run down for Marriott standards. My biggest complaint was the bed. It was a thin warped mattress. My husband and I didn’t sleep very well because of it. Maybe a little update would change my views. Had it not been for the great staff, I would have definitely scored a 1.

We stayed here while in town for a concert. Our room was great -- very comfortable and clean! We found the staff to be very courteous and friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to several restaurants and bars! We will definitely be staying again.
