Stayed here for four nights with family. Excellent location, the area is nice with many nice restaurants nearby. Easy acess to Metro - you can easily go here by metro from the airport, station. The hotel is old though, our room had a"leaning" floor which made the bathroom door impossible to open wihout violence. Bathroom very small and shower badly planned, was a complete see after a short shower, water everywhere. Breakfast is not included but hey do serve it, 9 euros. It is ok, mother and child liked all the fresh fruits/berries but the cooked breakfast was not so good. I give this hotel a rather good rate since it is charming, has a good location and very friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed 3 nights and for a supposed 2* hotel this outshone any hotel I have stayed in for a long time. We had a room on 3rd floor and was huge. I believe that is not the case with all rooms but ours had 3 sets of French doors and 2 windows.
Furniture was beautiful. Bathroom clean and bright with big shower. All windows had shutters. Free wifi. Reception area beautiful. Breakfast extra but great. Safe in room. Excellent location overlooking square with fountain. Short walk to centre.
Restaurant recommendation so good we went to same place 2 nights in a row and 50m from hotel. The 2 gentlemen on reception were extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. A really lovely place to stay.

We just returned from a 4 night stay in Brugge, we chose the Alegria based on the recommendations of our friends and online reviews.
We were not disappointed.
The rooms were smallish but standard in EU I would suggest.
The bathroom was huge!, and clean.
The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The only drawback was in order to get fresh air, it meant open windows, which meant mosquitos later in the day/evening. There was evidence of previous guests having the same issue.
Breakfast was simple and tasty. The freshly squeezed OJ was a bonus.
I recommend this hotel in Brugge.

Welcoming receptionist, small room, probably all of them are, but adequate. We had a garden view, which is a view over the square garden. Very helpful in directing us to local restaurants, all of which were excellent. Welcomed back into the hotel with a small range of drinks and a cosy lounge area.
We were able to walk easily to the lower town and the river, and also to the higher town. To go further afield we used local transport and a local app called Cabify. Similar to Uber and very efficient and comfortable cars.

This hotel has a great location, close to several very good restaurants. It also close to the old part of town. The rooms are a nice size and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and gracious. The Buffett breakfast is wonderful.
