Well equipped and tidy apartment. Kitchen includes 2 gas and 2 electric rings, a microwave, pots and pans and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and air-con worked well. The general condition of the apartment was good whilst showing some minor signs of wear. The only down point I had was the small size of the shower cubicle. I am 6 ft and around 15 stone, so big but not not huge.

It was a last minute reservation, so we did not have a lot of choice, but Buganvillea was a lucky chance.
Clean rooms, basic furniture, not expensive. Bathrooms need renovation and better ventilation. Due to water pipe breakdown we had to change a room, so we know, that you have to choose between sea-view and silence. Rooms with sea-view are located just above the main street, so it is quite noisy, especially in the evening.

So, other reviews complain about no kitchen equipment and tiny shower. They're correct, but otherwise, the place was fine. It's not 4-stars, just 2. But it's got a lot going for it.
It's across the road from the beach, or you can walk five minutes west to Maria Pia, a gorgeous beach. It's 20 mins to walk to Alghero, a great beautiful walk to build up an appetite or to digest after dinner. The cafe downstairs is good, and the restaurant is great (pizzas by the meter, very good). Supermarket a block away.
Our unit faced the pool, so balcony never got sun, but we didn't need it. The whole apartment is white tile floor, so easy to clean and cool on the feet. Yes, the shower is tiny, but just don't close the curtain, treat the room as a wet room. Easy to pass the shower mat over the floor to dry off. Good shutters in all windows, so you can cut out noise, light and heat when you want.
Apt 12 is in the corner, near the back of the cafe, a bit noisy at night as they clean up, but nothing too much. Again, just close off the windows and off to sleep.
We didn't pay 8euro per day for air conditioning, but last week of September, we didn't need it.
We 'borrowed' some washing up liquid from the corridor, and bought a dish cloth for 1.50. So, we were then able to clean up. I don't know how you're meant to when they don't supply cleaning stuff. Also, no frying pan (which we couldn't have washed anyhow without 'borrowing' washing up liquid.
There was an espresso stove top machine provided, and a kettle, so you can make coffee at least. The fridge was fine, although it needed a good de-frost.
We didn't (couldn't) cook in the apartment, except for (boiled) eggs in the morning. Why cook when the food in Alghero is the best, and good value.
The pool was lovely, clean, refreshing, plenty of space.
We would definitely stay at Residence Buganvillea again. Why not! It's cheap and clean!!

Stayed a week in the apartments. It was clean. Small. We hath need to have a small balcony but it was fine. Bedroom was great. Fine size. Shower was small and cramped and I can imagine some would struggle here. Bunk beds were good. Pull out bed was good. Kitchenette was small. I think sink and cooker could be in different positions. Pool was v welcome. We spent the week in it. Nearby beach and restaurants were good. 20 mins walk into town.

Great location - a stroll across the road to the beach. The apartment was basic (very little kitchen equipment) but comfortable. Small shower with variable water temperature Unfortunately it is above an extremely loud Irish bar that plays bad live music and karaoke until 2am which spoilt the ability to relax in the evenings.
