Actually the hotel is quite ok. It is clean and is resided in a very nice area near the beach. We liked to walk along the blue sea, into the old town. It took 20 minutes.
The swimming pool was dull, but the beaches were lovely!
Don't accept room 104 and the rooms next to them. They are situatet right above the supermarket delivery acces. They are making a lot of noise from 5 o'clock in the morning.
One night a man tried to enter our room through the window. THAT was scaring! So keep your windows and doors locked.
And bring your own dishcloth and your own towel to the beach.

We would highly recommend this hotel. It is situated close to a nice beach, restaurants and the supermarket beneath it has everything you might need. Having a separate bedroom and main room is ideal when visiting with young children as they can go to bed early and not be disturbed if you stay up later. The pool is great too, our baby loved it! The old town centre is about 20 minutes walk, and the hotel location is ideal for easily getting to some of the many beaches nearby.

The apartments are very basic, not modern. But my apartment was huge, plenty of room. Accommodation was very clean. You get what you pay for. An added bonus is the pool and its one straight away from a great beach.
Its a good 20- 25min walk into the town, but restaurants are well with in reach.
If you are looking for a base at a good price then these are fine, just don't expect luxury.

Very spacious apartments and very clean but the towels got changed once over the two weeks and the bed linen never. no wifi for two weeks even though it stated on the booking free wifi.
The thing that drove us mad were the stone floors and the constant noise of the furniture moving above us and beside us, they need to put pads on the feet of all the furniture especially for the stupid people moving it around late at night and early morning.
The pool area was very clean but the pool was freezing maybe time of year but it was cold.
The town beach is not that nice, but Maria Pia beach is lovely and not very far away about 5 mins walk from apartments.
Alghero itself is very pretty and about a 25 minute hike in from the apartments which was good as it was lovely to walk along the sea front and back.
The restaurants are very similar pizza pasta and seafood and fish mostly but it was fine and what you would expect.
The best restaurant in the town was a fish restaurant called Nettuna pricey but very worth it.
Boat trips and people selling an array of items grace the marina and the horse and cart and train takes you round the old town. But we walked around it, much nicer.
There is a supermarket downstairs and it was like a tardus. It’s huge and does a vast array of cheese, meats, cooked chickens a fresh pasta dish every day, chicken bites etc and potatoe dishes at the deli, it has everything you need if you don’t fancy eating out all the time.
There is also a bar and bakery, the staff are lovely and friendly and with a few hand gestures kind of understand you.
If you get the chance go and out and about and visit Stintino which has an amazing beach and amazing colour sea, can get very busy height of the summer so we were told. We also visited Bosa and Sassari.
The temperatures vary this time of year, first week was in the 30’s second week it went down to about 26 most days, bit cloudy and it rained a couple of days.

Second time we stayed here. This time we missed a little more cleaning. We only had fresh towels on arrival day and they were changed once during the week. It would have been nice with fresh towels at least one or two times more.
The standard of the hotel is okay and the kitchen has the basics if you want to make something yourself and brew coffee. Apartments to the street are really very noisy because of the supermarket downstairs - day and night.
