This hotel is located just a short walk from JR Beppu station. Our double room was very small at 12Sqm but this is kinda normal for most japan hotels.. but the room had all we needed and was very clean.The staff nice and efficient and helpfull.The hotel is not expensive ( 12,000 JPY for 2 nites ) and there is breakfast as an option.
i would recommend because its a great location for both the JR and the bus stops to the attractions.

We enjoyed our stay at Resorpia Beppu, especially liked their onsen and yummy breakfast.
The view from the spacious room was also good.
Staff was more or less alright - not way too kind though.
We had discounts on the room, and the full rate is sure pricey in terms of value.

We had a lovely room with the most gorgeous views. The beds were large and comfy, the sitting area had lovely bean bags to sink into, the bathroom was amazing having a separate wet room with a really powerful shower, a jacuzzi bath and very nice amenities. Everywhere was clean and housekeeping did an excellent job. We loved the onsen both the inside and outside.
We were staying when the earthquake occurred and I have to say the staff were amazing, it was the early hours of the morning and staff came in to help look after the guests, I would like to thank them all for their care and reassurance.

Stayed 1 night ( family of 3). We cannot complain about the quality of the rooms: spacious, freshly decorated, good beds and good quality beddings. Wi-Fi is possible to catch, if you are close to the corridor only. so in the middle of the room - no Wi-Fi.
TV - local channels only ( nothing in English, not even BBC World news).
What is exceptional - is a sea view from our room. As the hotel is on top of the hill - the panorama is fantastic!
Onsen is very limited. We were not impressed at all.
The dinner, which was included in the price, overpriced and overrated. if possible - stay away.
Personnel of the hotel are very attentive.

Highly overrated. Not suitable for non japanese.
Far from any good restaurants. Nothing in the neighbourhood.
Most guests were there for company seminars. Avoid at all costs. Over priced. No wi fi in the room
