We booked this holiday as an extra due to the price. Having visited Goa on numerous occasions i was very surprised. The hotel although older it was spotless.
The staff where amazing they are on the go all day cleaning and making sure guests want for nothing.
The bar staff are very good,very attentive and pleasant.
The food is some of the best i have had in all the times i have been in goa.
The room looked tired(old furniture,beds,etc) but it was spotless and the room boys where great.
It is in a great setting,very quiet but only a few mins in a taxi to all the night life if you want that.
Overall one of the best holidays i have had in Goa.

This was our first visit to Goa and we loved this hotel. Beautiful setting and gorgeous grounds. This peaceful and relaxing hotel was a real contrast to the noise and bustle of Goa. What really impressed us was the how friendly and helpful the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble, we got great advice about excursions and what to expect to pay for taxis etc (arrange to have a taxi for the day to take you sight seeing, we did and it and paid about £15, the great security guard at the entrance will help you with this) There's a free shuttle bus every hour on the hour to Baga beach.
We will definitely be returning here. Thank you so much to everyone at Marinha Dourada 😁

Good hospitality,nice accommodation, beautiful surrounding.Nice breakfast.Free shuttle service hourly to Beach. Pickup on calls should be arranged even if no guests to be dropped.Tie up with better tourist coach service required,the current one is not comfortable.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years and will continue to come back here every time I'm in Goa.The grounds around the hotel are exceptionall.You wake up in the morning open your balcony door and you are greeted by lush green scenery with eagles flying overhead it is breathtaking.The hotel itself is clean with rooms cleaned every day.The food at breakfast is basic but tasty and the food in the restaurant is of a very good standard as well as being reasonably priced.The staff are nice and helpful.Do yourself a favour if your going to Goa book this hotel.

The hotel is great for families lovely swimming pools all staff are excellent and friendly. The food only caters mainly for Indian dishes not quite English breakfast you will expect , there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel plenty to choose from all types of food and all cooked there and then
