My partner and I missed the last train back from London on a Tuesday night and we were a bit stressed out and agitated. So we booked a room (double bed private room with private bathroom) for £35. Amazing price for London.
The location was fantastic, a short walk from Elephant and Castle tube station in Zone 1.
We arrived, paid, I paid for a towel(turned out I didn’t need one because they had 2 in the room which was great) and also paid a £10 deposit for a room key (which was returned with no fuss the following day). And we made our way up in the lift to the room.
I wasn’t expecting much, I was expecting noise and basic amenities. As it is a hostel and many young people stay just for a bed for the night. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was, no traffic no people noise. The room and bathroom were spotless, the linen clean the bed fairly comfortable. Perfect temperature, the shower pressure was good.
This place exceeded all of my expectations in regards the the above and to top it off the staff were helpful and friendly.
I would 100% stay again as would my partner. And I would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

The first night wasnt very good, because it was quite hot in the room. But next nights were great. Also the staff in the reception helped us with everything, they also recommended us a good restaurant near. And the location was really good, too. The bus stop was right in front of the hostel, and buses were going directly to Westminster, London Eye, Picadilly Circus, and Trafalgar Square (line 453 or 53)! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a private room with bathroom. The room was just big enough for the bed and 1 person to stand. The bath didn't have a window. The mattress was very hard. The window didn't open or close properly. The breakfarst was nothing special for the price, so we decided to eat outside the hostel.
The staff was friendly and the hostel is quite central. It has nice to hang around the TV-room and relax. The room and bathroom were clean but it smelled of chlor in all the hallways.
All the same we won't stay here again.

Having stayed in many hostels around the world I'd say this was an average one, pretty cheap, good location and fairly clean.
I stayed in a mixed 8bed dorm, beds are metal bunks some extremely creaky some just a little. Topped with thin mattresses which you have to make up yourself. Ensuite room smelt very damp but was fairly clean- no towels at all, although i think you can rent them from reception. Room has plenty of bed side power points although no mirrors at all.
Reception and dining area very funky and fresh, without any atmosphere at all.
Felt weird being in a hostel with such small social areas and no kitchens.
We opted for late check out, but we were awake anyways as you can pretty much hear every word/movement anyone around you makes.
If you don't have high expectations you won't be disappointed.

That was pretty good. We took a twin room for a night : unexpectedly we had a shower as well as the toilets in there. The service was good, the breakfast as well, and the night not so expensive.
I guess you can go there easily!
