This is such a clean and cozy place. We drove up for one night and it snowed the entire day we were there. It was perfect for us to just get away and relax. Walked to coffee shop and through a few stores while it was snowing and freezing. I loved it! My favorite restaurant is Mellow Mushroom, plus the Southern Comfort restaurant. We also like the food and goodies at the corner gas station.

This was a nice hotel that was walking distance to shops and restaurants in downtown Blowing Rock. It is a quaint small town and the only about 15 minutes from Boone where you have your big malls and chain restaurants. They host an evening happy hour here, which was a nice event. Staff was super friendly.

It's Our first time staying here and we stayed at the suite upstairs with ample room, beautiful layout, cozy suite with our own balcony, walk to town was a treat. King bed was comfy, but the pull out bed was uncomfortable for sleeping. Enjoyed breakfast/coffee from our private upstairs balcony. Your receptionist, Jackson, was very courteous and helpful, made us feel at home. The cons are : hoping for a better & nutritious selection for breakfast, carpet and upholstery of sofas and chairs needed to be changed.

Great location, walk to town. Lovely layout. Comfy beds. Nice gas FP. Friendly, polite, accommodating staff. Adequate continental bkfst. Great happy hour. Weak WiFi. Mold stains around old whirlpool tub. 2nd bdrm upstairs had no vents, so it was very hot and stuffy, large fan was provided but it was noisy and wasn't enough to make it comfortable. 2nd floor window wouldn't close. Black stained kitchen floor. Heavy buildup of dirt and soap (strong PineSol odor) on LR and kitchen floors made them sticky.

My wife & I stayed here when we moved our son into ASU. The prices were less than our normal motel. We loved the location. When checking in we were told that we may need to park two block down across the road. They definitely need move parking. The ice machine was in a dark room. There was no soaps or shampoo in the room. The small window unit had a hard time keeping it cool. Quiet area.
