Bliss in the Valley!

I stayed at Rishikesh Valley for a couple of nights in October(29th and 30th) with my sister and a dear friend. This was our last stop, after a wonderful trip to Benaras and Haridwar. And I must say it was just the right way to end the trip and the credit partly goes to our host n owner Anandji!
The rooms were in good shape, very modest in terms of decor but comfortable.
The food was quite tasty with the feel of Indian home cooking. We could see that they were making every effort to provide variety to the menu and surely something to satisfy every pallet.
The location was extraordinary and one can be assured of nothing less than pure oxygen!
If you are looking to unwind, looking for some peace and not looking to rush out at 6:00 am for sightseeing, then this is THE place to be in.
Since the place is off the beaten track, don’t expect the amenities of a city. We didn’t have a vehicle but we still managed to do everything that we wanted to, thanks of course to the guidance from Anandji.
Eat, Relax and Unwind. This Valley did not disappoint us in any way.
Lastly, the crew he operates the place with, knew what it is to serve with a smile.
Would highly recommend
Must Visit

This place is nice to stay and is very clean well maintained. This is situated near to the Rishkesh and the food is quite amazing. The staffs are polite and know their task. The cottage is really comfortable and is ideal for couple or family.
A great place to go Off Grid

It is an effort to get there but once there is is so calm and peaceful.
it is high in the mountains and there is quite a walk to the hotel from where the car stops.
If you have mobility issues, this place is not for you.
The 12 cottages are built on different levels on the hillside and you have to either climb stairs or ramps to get to them.
The cottages are basic with no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Each cottage has a patio where you can sit and listen to the river rush by.
Although they say there is wifi in the ads, the 2 days that we stayed there it was not working. Phone signal is also spotty.
Morning tea is served from 7:30 onwards. Breakfast/ lunch/ afternoon tea with snacks and dinner is served.
The food is vegetarian, well made, tasty and the kitchen is clean and the helpers and workers observe good hygiene in the kitchen and in the rest of the place.
The owner and staff are very polite and helpful.
A wonderful place to detox, unwind and generally be off grid before returning to reality.

Rishikesh....the valley of rishis is just the place one needs to explore for it has unending surprises in every nook and corner. There is lots to see and even more to experience....
To begin with ... Triveni ghat arti is a Must do not only for its ritualistic importance but also for the beautiful way in which it is conducted.
Mornings at Ganga ghat to see the Sunrise is priceless. It is a wonderful experience.
Visiting Ashrams and lakshman jhulaA and then every lane and bylane over there....if you are young then visit this particular area as a tourist in your own country....you will simply love the discoveries you will make.
Swarg Ashram and Dayanand Ashram are very good.
There are lots of cafes and wonderful knick knack tuck shops to unearth. Yoga is a Must do when in this part of the galaxy....
Shikha chandok .... a seasoned yoga consultant with ashtanga expertise is one of the best. She also has her programs coming on television. Come this December ... she will be available at Rishikesh round the year. Go grab your dose of Yoga from her. She is good !!
Rishikesh's divinity comes from the magical love of Ganga....so seek your blessings from this mother.....
Go Rishikesh....Go Ganga.....
Attraction
